Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

I missed a lot for sure last night! My bad!

I just caught up with the posts, but when I left last night, part of the discussion was bagels. The best ones I ever had were from a bagel shop in Reseda, CA. (Most probably destroyyed by the Northridge Quake.) Big, tasty ones in lots of flavors with whipped cream cheese in whatever flavor you could want. One of those bagels was a meal!

The second best were the ones I tasted in NYC last year. Not as big, not as tasty, but good. They came from a shop called (what else?) New York Bagels.

Now, if I want bagels, I have to settle for Sara Lee, and usually buy the mini's. The best bagel shop in town is about 15 miles from here, and frankly, not worth the price of gas. (To me, anyway.)

Poor baby. I never had to go through that with my son. I didn't realize how lucky I was until he began to tell me of the ear infections his son was having.

Of course, I've always said it was probably "lucky" that I only had one baby, as he certainly spoiled me. No one should ever have a first baby that sweet and easy to deal with. He only cried when he was hungry or coming down with something.

It was KP who did the graphics on the castle in space. I just don't remember if that was on the original thread or the next one. It was fairly "early" in our exploration.

Thank you both! All our babies have had ear infections, usually when they're congested because of a cold or allergies. We've had a cold, so now (I assume) he's got an ear infection.

In the past, I'd have called the doctor this morning when he still had a fever, but we had such awful experiences with James using antiobiotics that I think we'll do better just to tough it out. If his ears start oozing, of course, I'll take him to the doctor.

Did James have a reaction to the antibiotics?

I don't like using antibiotics or prescribed drugs if at all possible. We were lucky in that for the most part, none of us got ear infections or the like.

We did have a couple of folks end up with appendicitis, me included. It's really not fun to not being able to use your stomach muscles when you have younger brothers trying and succeeding in getting you to laugh. Ow.

We've never had appendicititis :-).

James (and Elen, too, I think) got terrible diarrhea from antibiotics. I don't want to have that with Vlad, if we can get through the ear infection without it.

Also, because it can be hard to get a full dose down a baby, I think they often don't full cure the infection, and so it comes back, and they can develop a resistance to the antibiotics, and then you need a stronger kind, and that's even worse on the digestion, and so on.

If it's really bad, we'll do it anyway, but I'll give it a chance to clear up on its own first.

Not fun. Here's hoping he doesn't need it!

Appendicitis supposedly doesn't run in families, but considering three of us had it, there has to be some link, I'd say.

I had it the same year we all had chicken pox, one brother broke an arm, and two others had pneumonia. When it rains it pours...eek!

Good morning everybody!

Sorry to hear about your son, Tax-chick--my daughter had so many ear infections when she was little, we had to have tubes put in her ears to help drainage (she kept the tubes when they fell out and still has them--she thought it was so cool.). I hate it when they get sick like that--but the neat thing is that no matter how sick they were they were always so happy and rarin' to go.

I buy olive leaf extract capsules at the local organic/health food store for an antibiotic. The nice thing about it is that it WORKS without side-effects. I know capsules aren't appropriate for a baby, but (not having babies lately, I haven't needed to search) they may have it in a liquid.

It's all I've used for the last three years. The nice thing is you can take it as long as you want. I use it for maintenance. Good stuff!

My friend drives a bus when he isn't racing, and he got the latest round of conjunctivitis. I got him some "Eyebright" and olive leaf capsules, and he was fine in a few days. He didn't have the time or the money to see the doctor. I think this cost him $14.
