My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

"Beautiful poem. You might consider publishing if you have many more."
Actually, I have more than a hundred, and I've thought of doing a book on poetry, but my days are so busy that I don't have time to pull it all together and set up a proper manuscript. Maybe I'll have to get around to it this winter.

Good night everyone.

Maybe there is someone who can help you get the poems together. Just from what you've sent already, I know I'd like to buy a book of your poems.

I plan to spoil the heck out of her. She is very special to us, and deserves to have a very special life.

You're lucky! It's terrible weather here, high winds and steady rain all night and today.
To: bentfeather
I'm sure our days like that are not too far off.

Subtle sweet the entwining ebon night
strewn with glittering timeless gems so rare
seemingly tossed about as if without a care
now illuminated in my enfemeral sight

Between Dark and Dawn
That moment,
just before the clock rattles it chimes,
shattering the dawn with responsibilities,
is the best of times.
Warm, snug,
under embracing covers, like old friends,
your head cradled by a thoughtful pillow,
dreaming of what fate does send.
Weary and spent,
you and sleep, like verses in a rhyme,
share time and find common destinies,
the experience quite sublime.
Hiding from days tug,
upon the covers and our mind,
we snuggle deeper in the comforter,
seeking just a moment more with sleep to bind.

Between Dark and Dawn
Very comforting, lulling the reader to dream land
sheltered under a huge quilt of bliss
while exposing the realities of life.

It's a lovely day for a ride in the neighborhood!

I fed 6 ducks in the back yard this morning. Some sun, going in and out. Glad you have a nice shiny day.
