Some say the "a" "y" "l" are quite similar. I am more impressed with the S.B.T.C. in the ransome note and Karr's use of the words (which I cannot recall right now) Shall Be The Conquerer (?) that is written in a yearbook from 21 years ago....That's what caught my eye too.

Unfortunately, the media will not tread carefully. They never do, because they don't have to -- they are very nearly 100% above and uncontrolled by the methods of accountability the rest of us live by.

If he's found innocent, then I'll sit back and watch the eggheads in the media try to spin it.

It's not Karr's yearbook. It's Tara's (Theresa). The first part is the typical "Stay as sweet as you are" stuff with one very sarcastic statement directed at Tara's sister.
The second part is "All about poor John" and his intentions for "revenge" someday.

In the meantime, we should be aware of the possibility that the DNA might not rule him in or out, but might be inconclusive. In which case, truth is screwed whether or not he committed the crime. The Boulder authorities, wanting him to be their man, will assemble what circumstantial case they can.
Given Karr's seemingly desperate need to be seen as the killer, after formal charges are filed, he might choose to plead guilty. Which means there never would be a trial and the Boulder DA would never have to prove their case.
I am appalled, absolutely appalled at how the Boulder authorities have handled this matter of John Karr.

Have you followed the news closely? The media has had the guy innocent now, just a harmless nut (oh maybe a pedophile), ever since he came across as nutty when he first appeared on tv in Thailand, and when the Thai officials kept quoting him with quotes they later said he didn't really say. Do you understand...the media has him innocent, not guilty, at this point.

I normally don't watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann, but last night Olbermann's was not there, so there was a guest host interviewing some freelance video photographer, and all the while during the interview they ran the video this guy shot on the plane. It was appalling to watch this snake moving around first class freely without shackles or handcuffs, smiling and looking all coiffed like a metrosexual idiot.
I was ready to start throwing objects at my TV.
