Some egghead in the media said today is supposedly the end of the world. I'm mad. I was duped. I want a refund.
Seems some are mad that sandbar won't reveal his/her relationship with Karr. So they are either accusing sandbar of making it up OR are sucking up to get a scoop.

Rush said it beautifully today in his 2nd hour. There's no story here, but he's glad the focus in the media has been shifted from the bashing of Bush, the lies in Iraq, and the bashing of Israel to some pervert with some "story" tell, who surfaced out of nowhere, and now is a snake on a plane.
You wouldn't understand. It was a conversation onyx and I had last night.
Rush is wrong. There is a story here, but it might be about a delusional Mr. Karr.
I saw them talking about some handwriting on my TV today. I had it on mute, because I was listening to Rush. They got a case to be made there?
Sandbar, I haven't followed this entire thread, or even the details of what is happening re Mr. Karr. Reading from the bottom of the thread for a little while this morning, I noticed the running conversation you've had with a few other posters, and now have the impression you are connected with Mr. Karr in some way. I don't want to know anything along those lines, but do want to say the following to someone who might care and not brush it off:
None of us knows whether or not he murdered JonBenet. You are absolutely right in your comments about our thoroughly irresponsible media. I would add that plenty of people take the crap the media feeds them, and then run wild with it, spinning all sorts of theories to fit what they think are the facts. Before long the truth is so buried, it might never be able to be found again.
Based on what few facts we do have, I am concerned Mr. Karr may be railroaded whether or not he actually committed the crime. Everyone says the DNA will clear it up. Maybe, if they get a clear, definitive match to him. However, the results could come back as inconclusive, which means he remains a suspect solely on the basis of his "confession." I believe the Boulder authorities are so anxious to hang someone for this, that they will hang him even if he is just a disturbed person who confessed to a crime he didn't commit.
Again, going only by what few hard facts I know from news reports, near as I can tell, other than the misdemeanor charge of possession of child porn and failure to comply with the court order in that case, Mr. Karr has not been charged with committing any other crimes. Being obssessed with a murder is not a crime. Possibly wanting a sex change operation is not a crime. Having problems keeping a teaching job is not a crime. Suggestions that he might have pedophile tendencies is not a crime. If he does, nothing in the public domain right now indicates that he ever acted on those tendencies, other than to acquire child porn.
If Mr. Karr did murder JonBenet, then either there has been a massive amount of lies, misleading information, and so on published for years about the case (most of it coming directly from the Boulder authorities), or the Boulder authorities are going to have to answer some very, very tough questions.
Mr. Karr may or may not have committed this crime. Perhaps time will tell for real, perhaps not. I'm skeptical at this point, and am awaiting hard facts proving his involvement. There is also the very real possibility that Mr. Karr's mental condition has been deteriorating, and he may very well have confessed to something he didn't do for that reason. He may have convinced himself he did it, and as a consequence, will make the best witness against himself. Unfortunately, if this is the truth, it may already be too late to prevent him from being tried and convicted for the murder because the Boulder authorities and, in all likelihood, the Boulder jury pool, want him to be guilty.
If Mr. Karr is not mentally sound, and if he has suicidal impulses, he might even allow himself to be charged, and then plead guilty. So there would never even be a trial, and the state would never have to prove its case.
It's extremely ironic that the parents of the murdered child immediately obtained the best legal counsel their ample bank accounts could afford, but John Mark Carr, so far, has not obtained legal counsel re the murder case. He seems almost desperate to be known as her killer, whether or not he actually did the crime.
Some say the "a" "y" "l" are quite similar. I am more impressed with the S.B.T.C. in the ransome note and Karr's use of the words (which I cannot recall right now) Shall Be The Conquerer (?) that is written in a yearbook from 21 years ago....
We could be facing the OJ Trial Part II. Not saying that's what I firmly believe will happen, but everyone involved has to tread carefully from here on out. That includes the media and the people watching all this unfold.
