You know as well as I do that the Boulder authorities don't want to look like collossal screw ups, and the people who felt compelled to go along with the lies fed by the media will feel duped if this guy Karr actually is found innocent.

We could be facing the OJ Trial Part II. Not saying that's what I firmly believe will happen, but everyone involved has to tread carefully from here on out. That includes the media and the people watching all this unfold.

Unfortunately, the media will not tread carefully. They never do, because they don't have to -- they are very nearly 100% above and uncontrolled by the methods of accountability the rest of us live by.
