An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

Lucianne's headline doesn't match what MSNBC is reporting. MSNBC is not reporting that John Ramsay has been arrested, but that a suspect has been arrested.

Here is my guess: It may be no coincidence that this happened just after the mother died. Perhaps the son is the guilty party, and the parents knew. The mother was adamant that they all keep quiet about this, possibly even sending the son 'away' so he could stay out of trouble. Now that Patsy is gone, the father is free to come forward. Just a hunch, I could be way off base, but with the few facts we have does anyone else have a possible theory?

We'll have to see if the father is arrested, and if so on what charge. The charge could be obstruction of justice and not murder/manslaughter.

Amazing that this happened right after Patsy's death.My roaming mind has me wondering if perhaps Patsy left behind a letter, or diary, that hinted at something she and only she knew about. It's the stuff fiction novels are made of, but I'm only making a wild theory.
