An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

I saw that show...she even had false teeth made for her 5yo daughter....very creepy
WASHINGTON (AP) - A man arrested in Thailand is being held in connection with the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, U.S. law enforcement officials said Wednesday.
Federal officials familiar with the case, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the man was being held in Bangkok on unrelated sex charges.

Such odd timing, especially with Democrats picking up steam in House and Senate races nationwide despite those terrorism arrests in the UK...
By the time I got to your post, I was thinking exactly the same thing. It has to be a record for the thread with the most identical, one word replies?
It could have been a friend/associate who Patsy let into the house that night, and she was embarassed and distraught about letting this man into the house who then killed her daughter. This idea fits with the timing of this arrest. IMO, the unknown intruder theory doesn't make sense.
I always thought it was Ramsey's son from a previous marriage, JonBenet's step brother. Can't recall his first name at the moment.

as it was, they sued anyone who spoke against them or even hinted that there was more to the story....
never could figure out how people thought Patsy was the killer though....I would suspect more the father.....the father had connections in Amsterdam IIRC....
anyway.....I hope they do have the killer....
and I hope Patsy is smiling up in heaven, and I hope she forgives those of us who questioned the family, like me.....
