I gave her greetings last night. She was gorgeous and proud, and I felt very small when I thought of all the sacrifices made in her name.
This is an awesome city. (This is coming from someone who had no desire to ever visit...) We have walked until I thought I couldn't take another step, and climbed subway stairs until I thought my knees would break. But I'd come back in a heartbeat and do it all again!
