This would have been fun to have had Kevin Kovais singing Queen tonight.

Randy: "The last couple of weeks has been all bad songs." Truer words were never spoken on this show.
To: maggief
He walks to the tune of a different drummer..... who is beating on foam rubber. No sound or trace of the licks.

I would have loved to hear Chris sing the song Katherine is supposed to sing. I absolutely loved last week when he sang something softer.

He is dead on. There are many songs Chris could have picked and while he tried to do something different (which is brave) he flopped.

Is Chris so safe that he can pick this really obscure song? I do think you score better by singing hits. Short answer: yes. And picking an obscure song that matches his desired style helps his mystique.

Chris is up now....first let me say, I'm not into this type of music so is it me or is this really really bad? I didn't like it.
To: Hildy
"Last week, he sang a popular Keith Urban song. What was wrong with that?"
Very girlie ballad with lots of emotion while staring maniacally into the camera lens? Is that what you are referring to?

She wanted Chris to do something....look at the band with admiration in his face...or tell the band..heck, I forgot.
What did she say? LOL

Nobody like obscure. Exactly...Simon was right. I just played "We Will Rock You" from 'Live Killers' for my wife. She agreed with me...Daughtry could have put the competition in his back pocket with that version performed live. Okay song, but WRONG choice.
