The Hobbit Hole XXVIII - Through shadows to the edge of night
http://freeper.the-hobbit-hole.net/ ^

Posted on 02/24/2006 9:52:11 AM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Through shadows to the edge of night

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Maybe they'll send you a coupon! ;o)

I've been buying an organic low fat plain yogurt at Trader Joe's that's really good! The kids even liked the Strawberry version of it. I get the plain stuff, sweeten it with some Splenda, then eat it with the granola that TJ's sells. It's vey good too.

They have great stuff in the store, and their prices are really good! The cereal we buy there is way less expensive than the regular grocery store, sometimes for the very same thing! We like the Uncle Sam's cereal because it has flaxseed. At Stop and Shop, it sells for about $3.50 a box; at TJ''s it's $1.99!

This is the only yogurt I have found at Walmart and Albertsons that is just plain yogurt with no thickeners. Even the Plain Yogurt that Dannon makes has thickeners...but this is called "Natural" plain yogurt and it's ingredients are "Cultured Grade A Milk." They have a low-fat version, but I prefer the jedis to eat the the whole milk one...especially Joshua...he needs to put on more weight!

Hmm!

I have something in common with a cat! LOL!

I'm blind in my left eye so I kinda sympathize with him.
