Still can't get around Waylon's death. IMO the most talented of the Highwaymen and yet the most underrated.

At least country music tends to be cleaner than a lot of stuff these days. Hip-hop, rap and modern R&B make me sick.

Waylum changed it all
I knew him pretty well in the later years.
My ex-fiancee was his office manager.
he was very non-pretentious
Jesse too
and generous
but don't cross him
could ask June and Johnny if they hadn't died...Waylum never forgave them for pushing religion on him
he was a real independent thinker

IT's just a song about love that's gone bad...that's all...It's called ACTING..and kinda satirizing all the country duets who have loved and broken up. They are so in love it's so obvious.
