"Warm snow? Is that like dry rain?"

Not entirely. I can give you dry rain. You wouldn't like it.

Hi and bye, sionnsar.

Bye and hi!

I'm back, if only briefly...

..and 200+ posts to catch up on, if I am so inclined (uphill).

"Does thee recall whereat Ah put mah L33t-speak generator?" King Prout sends. KODT has absolutely no idea what this is all about.

Yes, Dear Leader, add me to your list.

Ok, but you must understand one thing: I am not the Dear Leader, Kim is.

For all of those interested he may be making an appearance tonight. His touring schedule has provided him with some time off.

"(BTW, love the tagline, NnB!)"

Thanks! In regard to your new tagline, I am honored -- sort of.

Every--or every other--tagline is a new one. Many have been related to the Castle project, in one way or another.

I am the vehicle, Kim is the driver. Granted, he has to sit on a stack of telephone books to reach the dash.

I do have a dog though, and cats and dogs don't get along. Dogs are good, therefore cats must be ungood.

It appears to be six-stringed instrument, but KODT to the contrary it is not a "hurdy-gurdy" aka "Vielle a' rue" (sp?). The latter is defined in a couple of aspects, the primary one being the crank at the bottom to spin the wheel that replaces the bow in bowed instruments.

It appears he is plucking the strings, though with just one picture I could be wrong.

But I have to say that I have never seen a stringed instrument with strings close to the body (I am excepting African "harps" here) held and played in this fashion. And I will also note that it is constructed in a rather modern, as oppsed to primitive/traditional fashion... so I have NO idea what it is.

1. that thing appears to have a crank at the bottom (both kp and kodt)
2. one can pluck violins, violas, etc... so why not a hurdygurgly? (kp asks)
