Offline day was good. Today, not so good. I'm on my back up work machine right now. It's my "Official" corporate box, but I liked my hacked together Uber-machine.

The Product key for the Beta OS I was running finally gave up the ghost on me. Had to re-load. Almost nuked one of the back-up drives I had in the machine. Found a nifty app that will ressurect a deleted MFT for an NTFS partition. That is pretty cool and saved my many Gigs of music files from oblivion.

Now, I've just gotta figure out what I did with my 1 year product key and I'm also set. Otherwise, I'll just be reloading in 14 days... EERRKK!!!

Epizootis is a term used by KODT to mean any horrible strain of plague that is currently floating around infecting everyone in sight.

The adjective "galloping" refers to the virulence of the strain.

I earned the titles. Together with King Prout, Timpad, American Wolf and others, I crafted my title shortly before Thanksgiving.

Some of my best memories are the annual family gatherings that my Mother's family held. Usually twice a year -- once for my Grandfather's birthday, and again around Christmas -- her brothers and sisters and all the assorted descendants would converge on my Aunt and Uncle's home in Orange, CA for several hours of food, games, food, conversation, food and general elbow-rubbing.

My Mom has three brothers and two sisters, all older than her except one brother. As a result, I have a cousin who was older than my Father, and second cousins my age. It's a big ol' spreading family tree, my Grandfather started and it's a credit to his own faithfulness before G_d that the family is still tight and without any big rifts in it. The Good Book says, "The fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

I guess we're living proof.
