No sign of it. We're in the third day without a puddle, so he's obviously containing himself until we take him to the pot, but he doesn't go on his own or mention that he has to. Maybe this weekend when his Dad is home, we'll leave him to his own initiative and see what happens :-).

If you become desperate, there's always the "Kool-Aid" method, but it's tiring for the parents, too.
If he's not volunteering to go, this might be turning into a "control" issue and that cannot continue.
Have you been asking him if he needs to go or do you simply take him to the bathroom every hour or so?

Might I suggest asking him, at decent intervals, if he feels like going? (Using those exact words.)
If he says yes, Great! If he says no, he'll still feel in control and he might get the idea that when he does feel like he has to go, he can come and tell you, which will make you happy in your heart.
