Marino had the quickest release of any QB I've ever seen.
There is little doubt in my mind that Anthony Munoz was the best offensive lineman of the last 30 years, if not all time.
Duh!
OK STOP THE BS ALREADY. Smith was pathetic that only succeeded because the Cowboy's offensive line. Sanders is the #1 runner of all time. Just watch the highlight films.

And they played at Lambert Field.
Yep, I'm astounded your the first to name him. Swanny was astounding.
I'd have Jerry Kramer in there somewhere.
And I'd like to point out that one of the best DBs of all time (Corner and Safety) Rod Woodson had his corner career cut short because that little bugger could turn on a dime. Sanders deserves his accolades. He could have easily kept ahead of Smith had he not gotten tired of football. He was not only good, but he was good in a bad system.
I've always liked DBs to be quick enough to cover man but strong enough to support the run. Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott were tops, IMO.
Largent is a rock-solid conservative, as is Staubach. Surely that should help on this survey!
Aikman was just awesome.
Sanders jigged around behind the line looking for openings (and frequently getting tackled behind the line in the process) too much. No runner afraid to run to darkness could ever be the best ever.
Thank you. LT is da man!!!
Robert 'Bobby' Boucher Jr.
What hurt Swannie is that there was so much talent spread out on those Steeler teams that he wasn't the only threat. But when the Steelers really needed that big play, he was money.
Over 11,000 yds. back in the AFL days when pass interference was non-existent.
