AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1663) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | August 10, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 08/10/2005 4:21:52 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The shuttle landed safely yesterday in California.

Do you have $100 million lying around that you just don't know how to use? Well, Space Adventures has the answer for you. For a cool nine-digit sum, you will be able to take a tour around the moon. Plans for the venture are still in the works.

After playing computer games for 50 hours in Seoul, the man, 28 years old, died of heart failure.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Lysie - my vote is with this solution. Steel yourself and think of the whole family. She has been playing you like a harp and it is time to stop resonating.

All my love and prayers - be strong or things will get worse. You need YOUR health to help others.

----Good morning all. Dear daughter is home from school for a few days. Makes mom be awakened in the middle of the night when she comes home and then couldn't get back to sleep. Oh well, it's just a week.----

The way I found to handle the "are they home yet" situation was to leave a light on somewhere they were to turn off upon getting home. Had a couple of advantages.

Sorry this idiot wayward bride is showing up in the news again. The only interest I have will probably not be addressed.

"What did the 14 bridesmaids do with their dresses and did they have dyed-to-match shoes?"

Weldon indicated that there are SEVERAL investigations going on right now, and I expect more in the future.

What is rather disturbing to me after hearing Catherine Harridge's report on FNC that the Pentagon sent the 9/11 Commission the information about operation Able Danger and how it related to 9/11, is that no one from the administration spoke out about the absence of such information in the report.

The only thing I can think of is that 1) they were too busy running a war; and 2) there was so much left out of the report that if they spent their time this way, they wouldn't have time to do #1.

Having said that, however, it seems to me it would be prudent to have someone in the WH and administration responsible for pointing out such omissions to the press, releasing press releases, holding press conferences, etc.

Freepers do a better job at this kind of thing than the WH does, sometimes. LOL

LOL.

I don't have the temperment as I'd be telling the press to take a hike.

No one is stepping out of line. I asked for help and I thank you..all.

She's at the senior center. I've calmed down a bit.

I'm going to back off on any major decisions until after I talk to her doctor...tomorrow, but one thing I know for certain....I'm never getting this upset over her...again. I've reached the point of no return and whatever decision is made...whether let her sleep in or wake her up it will now be made in a matter of fact way with little or no emotion.

No more games and if she lies in bed moaning and groaning I'm closing her door like I did yesterday. I don't want to see it...I don't want to hear it.

BBL Taking Sarah to work.

Love you all.

Good for you, lysie. There's no sense letting YOUR health get compromised over this kind of manipulative behavior.

Leaving work now to go home and take care of Little Brandi's Panda Bear, Little Panda's Tiny Honey Bear, Salaluce Panda's Chubby Bear, and Panda's Little Cubby Bear. I think I got that right: anyway, it's Panda, Honey, Chubby & Cubby, the Bear family!

I like the idea of just leaving the house and spending the day doing something that YOU like to do if she doesn't get up. Being alone and not having an audience might...just might...make her DO for herself. Do it more than once so that she gets the idea that you mean it.

Butting in as usual, but I really care about you and this totally unfair situation caused by a self-indulgent MIL.

Hey, are you SURE they didn't point it out? After the news channels almost totally ignored that fire in Detroit last night, and after finding out that Kurt Weldon has been talking about this Able Danger group for TWO MONTHS and it only got covered today, for all we know Scott McClellan gave a detailed critique and it simply was ignored!

LOL.

Without watching 24/7, there's no way to be positive. But we were all pretty glued to the news during that time and if any Republican had pointed it out, freepers would have been sure to hear about it and post a thread about it.

It would have been HUGE news, as today's excellent interview can attest to.

As well, there are enough other items that have not been handled in a PR savy way, as noted by distinguished conservatives like Krauthammer, that I just think handling the mis-reporting in the media isn't on the top of the agenda. Understandably, I guess.

I truly wish they'd hire a freeper to handle some of this stuff for them.

Afternoon all...

Afraid I've been living in La La land the past few days....getting caught up, I've just read thru most of Monday's thread...

lysie, you've given it a "go" with you MIL. It's time for her to leave. There's nothing hopeful about the situation at this point or admirable for that matter, in you offering your peace of mind and health for a person who is so manipulative & ungrateful & who shows no signs of keeping up her end of the situation.

And Nita, I could offer advice, but you may not have asked for it, so I won't...((((Nita))))

If I haven't made this clear by now, here it is again: I'm a firm believer - (my experience has taught me this ) in BOUNDARIES, and letting the chips fall where they may...children, mothers, husbands, mothers in law...whatever...and that makes me a hard-hearted realist I guess...
