A new Pope is elected, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger who has chosen the name, Pope Benedict XVI. The libs are whining already about how it could result in “continued internal dissension within the church.”
President Bush will more than likely be naming Marine Gen. Peter Pace as the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Pace will be replacing Air Force Gen. Richard B. Myers. You served us well General Myers. You will be missed.
John Bolton’s nomination as ambassador to the United Nations is postponed. Remember the names Republican Sens. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and George Voinovich of Ohio. They are wimping out on us.

Those ornaments are beautiful. 2-3 hours is a short period of time to make something so pretty.

The headache is still with me. But if I can stay calm, avoiding any emotion, positive or negative, at all and avoid most movements, then hopefully it won't build. It's hard to explain, if I hold my head one way, its really painful and will build. If I hold my head another way, it is mild tightening in the headache area.
Nita, I'm glad you're going to have it checked out. Hope it's nothing serious.
Jemian, having suffered from those for years, I truly feel your pain. I used to get the light flashes, followed by intense headaches. Even my hair would hurt.

It is worth the heads up.
I called and told them that it was sad that we pay him to do a job in washington and the excuse he comes up with is that he missed the beginning of the hearings. (if it was up to me I would see his pay docked for not going to work.)
Checking in....I won't be here today.....might stop in after work this evening it depends how tired I am.
Oh and by the way the woman with whom I spoke sounded as if she has received many calls already this morning.

My Emily was ten pounds at her last doctor's visit, and is probably over that now as they are giving her cereal w/bananas :)
