I rarely post a vanity, but however the Schiavo case comes out, I would think it best that Pinellas County, Folrida, the mildewy backwater that has apparently encouraged this corruption for many years, be boycotted by clear-thinking Americans who do not wish their dollars be pipelined into a swamp such as this.
Apparently, Pinellas voters enjoy corrupt public works projects (hospices among them), and corrupt county officials. In fact, Pinellas folks have apparently sanctioned them for years and years. Perhaps they are both amused and enriched by them.
Well, no more. Pinellas County, Florida, right ought to be remembered throughout our history for sanctioning not only civic corruption, but venal idiocy and malign malice. For shorthand, we'l just call you "Selma."
I, for one, will never travel to any city in Pinellas County, nor purchase products made there, nor have any relationship or correspondence with anyone who makes their home in that rotten enclave.
I am certain that other surrounding counties -- just a hop, skip, and a jump from Pinellas, have much more to offer to thinking men and women.
As to the folks in Pinellas, the Terri Schiavo Case is all being done in your name, because you apparently countenance greed, and corruption, and malice. Probably just to make a buck. How are the real estate prices anyway?
Hope you enjoy what your property taxes hath wrought.
Idiots.
Would definitely keep the retirees away.
Yep, maybe we should take up a collection and put an ad in the NYT warning the oldsters of what can happen to them if they move to Florida.
That'd be a start.
I'll go you one better- nothing, not a thing, emanating from Florida will be purchased or allowed in our house.
Hehe..good thinking Batman! ;-)
"Yep, maybe we should take up a collection and put an ad in the NYT warning the oldsters of what can happen to them if they move to Florida."
That sounds like a very good idea. And call it Death County, Florida in the ad too.

Death County bump. Great idea. I would contribute to the Death County ads, for sure. Put it in the Washington Post, New York Times and Modern Maturity.
Bump
After your diatribe, it would be a smart thing to avoid the residents. lol
I will be in Pinellas County next week. It is a gorgeous place with great people, exciting things to do, the best beaches and excellent restaurants.
Your post is rude, arrogant and ignorant.
Enjoy your trip.
Whatever.
Whatever.
Thanks a lot, backhoe. :-(
Thank you. And might I add that all of you that come here and complain that it's not like NY, MA, CT, VT, PA (insert state here) - we don't want you here.
I'm tired of all the ragging on the heat, the bugs, no change of seasons. I'm especially sick and tired of the rampant bad PR shown on this forum.
Stay home. We don't want you here.
See my above post.
Your vitriol is childish, rude and hurts fellow Americans.
Not directed personally at my friends down there. Darned if I know what to do next.
I know what to do. I'm leaving all of this confusion, backstabbing and hate-mongering behind.
Hope you all figure it out.
About 15 years or so ago,I was forced to live in FL-the worst five years of my life, bar none-and swore an oath that I would NEVER go back to that state again.Terri's case-and the recent rash of judges sympathetic to pedophiles-just reinforces that. Sad to say, my neice, nephew and uncle don't see it that way. Oh well.
