Gah, computer too slow to stop you. Oh well.

Be careful, we all know what happened to him! ;o)
I'm listenen' to rowdy irish tunes on the ipod... There's one I really like by the Brewer Boys called "It's hard to make a livin' on the Boyne (sp??)" It's about life as a fisherman in modern Ireland. Very catchy tune - lyrics are depressing...
Grrrrrrrrrr Grrrrrrrrrrrr Grrrrrrrrrrr and Grrrrrrrrrr
gasman just stopped by for the last fillup before summer and said "I see your mailbox got hit again" Grrrrrrrr
G'nad is off teaching...I'm sure he saw it on his way out this morning...

Hit by a car or hit by punks with basball bats? Take and iron pipe, set it in cement. Fill a mailbox with cement and put it on top. The put the real one just 'down traffic' of that one. :D
Oh my... He's not gonna be happy!
I just finished rubbing lotion all over Joshua. I feel so bad for the kid. He has such dry skin it makes me want to cry. The scaley patches on his head are so bad that I can't comb his hair unless I treat it and treat it with lotion.
Anyway, I bought a "pot" of lotion at Sam's and I microwave it till it's nice and warm, then I rub it in to his skin from head to toe, then I wrap him in a blanket and we sit on the couch doing school till it soaks in.
Then, before his bath, I do the same thing to his scalp, rub in a bunch of lotion and put a hat on him for about half an hour. That loosens up the scales and I can wash them off then.
How deliciously eeeeeeeevil!
Haven't seen it, but I assume it was hit by baseball bats...
We'll fix their wagon...we gonna have one made of steel...grrrrrrr
Mrsnad
Oh...bless his heart. Thegirl get dry skin on her hands but nothing like that.
Gonna hang up laundry...bbl
Mrsnad
Couldn't g'nad rig a mailbox to explode if it's hit with enough force? That'd show them... of course, it's probably illegal...
I am pretty sure hitting something you THINK will 'give' with a baseball bat and finding it to be solid concrete will cause at least a little injury. And that IS legal.
OK folks, I'm about to become as bad as 2J and her chickens but I have an announcement to make...
On Sunday, I adopted TWELVE hermit crabs. Pics will be up sometime this week, but now I have found myself really enjoying this new hobby and growing attached to the little buggers.
The irony is, they look a lot like cockroaches. LOL!!
So, to mark this grand event in my life, I have decided to change my tagline....
I'm pretty sure it's psoriasis. My little brother has it and it just covers his entire body. He's done chemo and everything, trying to get rid of it. My mom also has it, not as bad on her skin, but she developed psoriatic arthritis and it just crippled her hands. They both take twice weekly injections of Enbrel and from what I understand it helps a little.
Both of them were without any sypmtoms until they were given steroids. Both of them had it manifest after they got that dose. It's called a "trigger" and in their case it was the steroid.
I fear in Joshua's case it is the same, since he's had trouble ever since he was born and they gave me steroids when I lost my hearing when I was 8 months pregnant. I apparently don't carry the gene or whatever that causes psoriasis, but I fear Joshua does.
I've never had him diagnosed. There's no cure and it's not bad enough and he's not old enough to start trying things out on him. It seemed that the more my brother and mom tried, the worse it got for them. I'll opt for the conservative approach until he gets a little older or things start getting really bothersome.
But I grow closer and closer to taking him to the doctor. The only thing is, if I just take him to our regular doctor, I suspect I know more about the topic than he does. I want a specialist seeing Joshua, which is easier said than done.
I'd like to take him to cut his hair for Easter, but I need to explain to the barber first not to force the comb through his hair.
ROFLOL!! I can't wait to see the pictures!! What are their names?
I haven't named them yet because 1) they are TWELVE of them and 2) I can't tell some of them apart just yet.
But I do know what I'll name them when I do start assigning. They will all be named after characters in the Brady Bunch: all 6 kids, Alice, Carol, Mike, Sam the Butcher, Tiger (the dog) and Kitty Karry-All. *grinning*
I hope the boy crabs don't mind having girls names since I can't really sex them anyway to save their feelings.
LOL!! I was being a bit facetious when I asked for their names. That is a LOT of crabs!
Just don't tell 'em what you had to eat in Seattle! ;-)
I won't! They like freeze-dried baby shrimp though, so they aren't completely against seafood. ~wink~
Off to lunch...
Oh, I hope they get all mad and storm up to g'nad's door with their bats... heh heh heh...
