Well, in her defense, she ~was~ right that I should've had the information. It was just too chaotic to get it at the house. She suggested, and I agree, that I should have the information on a card in my wallet.
Also told the Mrs. if Nana is going to live with us, I need power of attorney in case she's incapacitated. Wife has it. Fortunately, Nana was able to sign the forms herself tonite.

Evening Winmag. My FIL has a Luger obtained in a similar fashion. Very nice handling firearm.The Luger has incredible ergonomics, as we would say today. It was also incredibly expensive to make, as it took hundreds of separate machining steps.

Oooh, mystery series? Were they any good? Would Blockbuster or something have them? It wasn't really SUPER good, but I got slightly hooked on it. It starred the lady that plays Hyacinth Bucket (that's boo-kayyyy!) in "Keeping Up Appearances". Dominic Monaghan played her nephew and assistant, Jeffrey - he lived with her and her husband. He's actually my age and therefore would have been maybe twenty or so.
Unfortunately at this point, about all I remember about the series is that, as I was still not used to the fact that the British were fine with partial nudity on TV so long as it was after nine or so at night, I was very startled one day by a shower shot of Dom's butt. Oh joy!
And on that note...time for coffee.

The absolute horror expressed by liberals and rinos killed it instantly yeah... when I was turnin' it in, there were a few REMFs and civilians watchin' what was turned in, and setting aside the nicer weapons aside...
the Hungarian AK was in great condition, compared to most of the crap we saw, and had a beautiful grain in the stock... rather than have it hangin' on somebody elses wall or gunvault, I wrapped it around a tree... then asked 'em if they still wanted it...
muh friend has an STG-44 his dad got off'n a Waffen SS trooper... guess that one slipped thru the cracks...
