It's the global warming following the global cooling. I was gritching a couple of weeks ago about the fog, humidity and wind. It was COLD. Not as cold as others here had to endure, but plenty uncomfortable, nevertheless.
I think I'll keep the AC - I'm sure we'll need it later this year when the temps hit 105. I think i'll keep the car and it's AC unit, too! :)

I don't think this fine weather will last. We're still in the rainy season, and I'm sure we'll have more storms, wind and fog. It's only Feb. 1.
I went through the global cooling with Mr Sagan (or whatever the fool's name was) in the sixties. When he was proved to be wrong, he just reversed himself. May the lord help all liberal fools who believe in kitchen table science. LOL
Just needed to grouse. Rough day.

Nope, that is plain old growing grass...I saw a guy in the neighborhood getting his lawnmower out this afternoon..
We will probably have to drink, wash and do laundry this summer with beer if we don't get some snow in the mountains soooon...

Did you folks see that reprint a day or two ago from a few decades back? It proclaimed global cooling and mentioned several "scientific" proposals to help warm the earth such as spreading ashes over the polar icecaps.
You are not exhibiting the proper spirituality here. Now close your eyes and hum Kumbaya to yourself. When you finish, say "the trees and spotted owls are our friends", then go out a wring a spotted owl's neck

Fair enough but she must also vow never to use any product coming from animals, vegetables or minerals.
I didn't see it, but I remember my professors in college talking about it. "The next ice age is on the way! We're all gonna die!" Now, it's "Global warming is here! We're all gonna die!" Geeze.
Good advice. Save the ammo for the big stuff.
