We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The quote of the day:
I want to go back. It kills me when I see the news, when I think of all my buddies back there. [Ryan Chapman, US Marine, at Landstuhl, Germany, wounded at Fallujah.]
Condi Rice is President Bush's selection to replace Collin Powell as Secretary of State.
The Bush Administration is agressively hunting down some 400,000 fugitive immigrants, some 80,000 of which were ordered to leave the country after criminal convictions, according to the Arizona Republic.
NBC is saying that a Marine shot an unarmed and wounded Iraqi prisoner in cold blood. The network offers as proof a video grab showing a marine standing over a prisoner with his M-16 pointed at him. The screen goes to black and a shot is heard on the tape (from the caption to the AP/NBC Pool screen grab). While this means there is no video proof of the shooting, NBC still claims it occurred.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
"MAN DOWN!!! Check ABCs. Airway, Breathing, Change in PocketsCirculation. Someone call 911. 5 compressions, one breath. Don't stop until the medics arrive and take over."
Does that sound like the correct briefing? 8>)

I don't think that's quiiite what she had in mind, John ... :-)
I am impressed with Trill's plumbing skills. I call a plumber, an electrician or the 'Fix it' Man.

Y'all don't need to remind LD to pick up the youngest tomorrow. The youngest has a cold which has worn her out. She's staying home from school. However, I won't be home on Thursday so a ping to LD would be aprreciated then.
I have 3 boychilds. They do a good job of repairing hog waterers. There is a world of difference between my sink and a hog waterer.
I love my boys, but I don't trust them to be messin' in my kitchen. When my disposal plugs, I use a toilet plunger on it. If that doesn't work I stick the long end of a broom handle down it and try to get the blades unstuck (if it sounds like that is the problem). When neither of those tactics work, I call for help.
Guennie, we may not actually get down the mountain to Chattanooga; we're taking JT to Covenant College at Lookout Mountain in Georgia. He'll be touring the campus, attending classes, reuniting with a (girl) classmate from overseas and speaking with the basketball coach. Hubby and I are tagging along for the ride. We'll be back Thursday.
I'm tired so I'm going to bed. I'll check in tomorrow before we leave.
But I might send you a link to some virtual yellow roses, if you can send me a link to a picture of the arrangement that you like.....(ducking and running for cover)

LOL! I should hope.

That is the most adorable picture of Dick Cheney's granddaughters. And Cheney himself.
The pilot light on my furnace must have gone out. The vents are spewing forth not so warm air. I have my flannels on and the down comforter on the bed. I'll get through the night and call the manager in the morning. Brrrr.
Good for Trill. Is she available to come light my pilot light? I can do lots of things myself, but I'm afraid I'll blow myself up if I light the pilot light...
There is a lot going on close to the surface that we're not getting the full story on just yet.
The arrest of that Sunni "Iraqi Islamic Party" honcho in Baghdad the other day is also a bit of a mystery. We hear about it from one of his cronies, but as of last night I couldn't find any official explanation for what is going on. The "news" story (AP I think) clearly wants people to think that the guy was arrested because he was critical of the Fallujah operation, but I think that's garbage. I suspect that he's been linked to the terrorists.
DID HE NEED ONE OF THOSE INTERN MAPS? [KJL]
John Kerry went back to the Hill today.
I read the article about John Kerry going back to the Senate. "he stayed in his office for most of the day." Utah Girl's interpretation: "He stayed in his office and sobbed his heart out that he wasn't prez."
I think my brain is freezing. I know my nose is cold...I need to go to bed.
Now that I'm officially frozen cold, I'm off to bed...
Good morning, everyone. Another mild day in store. I enjoy this late fall weather.
Mornin'.....
Good morning! It is mild here this morning, too. I am going to try to get some outside work done.
Good morning.
