We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The quote of the day:
I want to go back. It kills me when I see the news, when I think of all my buddies back there. [Ryan Chapman, US Marine, at Landstuhl, Germany, wounded at Fallujah.]
Condi Rice is President Bush's selection to replace Collin Powell as Secretary of State.
The Bush Administration is agressively hunting down some 400,000 fugitive immigrants, some 80,000 of which were ordered to leave the country after criminal convictions, according to the Arizona Republic.
NBC is saying that a Marine shot an unarmed and wounded Iraqi prisoner in cold blood. The network offers as proof a video grab showing a marine standing over a prisoner with his M-16 pointed at him. The screen goes to black and a shot is heard on the tape (from the caption to the AP/NBC Pool screen grab). While this means there is no video proof of the shooting, NBC still claims it occurred.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Rub it in!
Afternoon folks!
Well, there wasn't anything too remarkable about Mark Bowden's statements on Bennett's show this a.m.
Not surprisingly, he's in favor of embedded journalists...said that we should learn the full story of the Marine's actions in Fallujah with that wounded Iraqi, and that the Marine will be judged by fellow soldiers who understand what he was dealing with.
Bowden deplored the sensationalism of some of the news accounts of the beheadings, etc., finding them unhelpful and overly emotion-producing.
He said it was absolutely necessary to take on the insurgents in Falluljah and anywhere else they may be in Iraq.
Hello.
I stopped in at the post office, and a store afterwards, and actually was tempted to show it off!! LOL
How...are....((you))?
Thanks for keeping the ping list!!
Good to be talking to you, my friend.
The less I complain to myself the better of I am.
I try to listen to Glenn Beck whenever possible. His off the wall, borderline insane, sense of humor brightens my day.
My driver's license pic was much better the last time I renewed it, too. Must be I need new glasses, as well. LOL
Did you have a nice day weatherwise and other wise?
These changes in the administration are occurring at breakneck speed, aren't they??
Oh, and I'm listening to Dennis Prager interview a Brit psychologist who has ssome experience treating Muslin women. He's talking about the abuse they often suffer in their society and with their husbands. YIKES!
The bathroom wallpapering job, started 2 weeks ago, is done.
The major shopping for the church project is done.
Lovely weather today, and 2 weeks ago, we reelected W. and dodged a major calamity.
Yes, I'm fine! LOL!
The license photo was the icing on the cake!
Ugh... I used to hate PT tests. It was the pushups, situps, and running parts I had a problem with. ;^)
I'm not sure when I will get to the master bedroom and bath. Years ago that would have driven me up a wall...not getting it done. Now?? So what?
Did you see the ad for O'R? Dennis Prager will be on tonight. I'm not sure I can sit through another O'R momnet, though.
BBL Hubby needs computer.
Back in 1998 during the Clinton-Monica scandal it happened all the time. I would post on FR in the evening and what I posted would be in Rush's monologue the next day.
Sometimes I would get an idea on Monday and purposely not post it until Wednesday.. and sure 'nuf Rush would use the same material on Thursday. Somehow my ideas never occured to Rush and his staff until after I had posted my thoughts on FR.
Tons of people on FR assumed I was Rush. Some even thought the Ray Malone persona was a fake cover to hide my real identity.
I don't think Rush actually reads my stuff and then uses it. That would be nuts especially if he is using the material from my (c) Copyrighted Ray Malone columns. But I do think his staff reads my commentary and then presents the ideas to Rush as if it were the result original staff research. Rush may use it thinking his staff came up with the ideas. Either that or it is just a coincidence that has happened hundreds of times since 1998.
You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried..
FoxNews just reported that we have lost 13 of our guys in the last day and half in Fallujah. I haven't seen that anywhere else.
Looks like Spectre has won..and gets his Chairmanship......per Fox News.
lysie, thanks for the Prager heads-up. Will definitely watch that segment, anyway!
Could it be Shiek al-Janabi and Omar Hadid did bite the dust...??
