We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
American forces now control 80% of Fallujah. The remaining terrorists are now cornered.
Elsewhere:
Final election vote tally:
Bush = 60,480,193
Outgoing AG Ashcroft commented that there are certain judges in America which threaten National Security by ruling contradictory to the President's obligations under international treaties and agreements. Specifically, Ashcroft condemned a judge's ruling that the President's decision that Al Qa'eda members were exempt from the Geneva Conventions was wrong.
The ACLU, naturally, disagreed with Ashcroft.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

the auburn/Oklahoma game would be a fun match up. Oklahoma fans are series fans.
I was in Ok visiting my brother last Dec. It was the "company party" of sorts for the state of Oklahoma networking area he is in..Very large group.. maybe 300.. event was held in Norman at a large hotel.. & it was VERY fancy, evening gowns.. all men in suits & some black tie..
I did my thing and became official photographer as everyone else was "preoccupied"..
BERCAUSE it was also on a game PLAY OFF NIGHT.
Several had chipped in for 3 large projection TVs that they had leased for game. It was funny to see folks congregating around TVs..which were place spread out around the ballroom. they had the awards (my bro got one) & all speeches done at half time.
The dancing & socialization did NOT begin until the game was over.
As I said, these are series fans in OK...

an idea on blueberries.. keep the bushes (dad might not be around that much longer).. have him every couple days invite someone over to help them selves to a couple quarts but with the stipulation, free berries for you but pick a quart for me (because I am unable/too lazy/like the little red hen story etc). He will have a nice supply & be able to share with others. Or people from church could have ONE picking day & have a nice supply for him.. if they make preserves or a pie, give some (piece pie, jar jam) to him.
I never had good luck freezing blueberries. they were always rubbery. I do like them fresh & in pies though - but fresh in pies. not frozen

I do the egg shells & coffee grounds around roses, azaleas etc. I let the eggs dry out & crumble. Looks a wee bit better than the whole/half shells!!!

OK, I am going to plant some more this year, sounds like fun. When should I plant, how should I prepare the area, put them on something to climb on? Maybe I have been doing it all wrong in the past.

If you mean blueberries.. no need to have a climbing apparatus.. they have strong, woody stems eventually. There are different varieties for difft parts of country.. need to check with local agricultural extension office. They are usually a good source of info on what does well for your soil/climate.
YOU DO NOT WANT MAINE/MICHIGAN VARIETIES IN THE GULF STATES.
Have them far away so you don't have to worry about trimming but not so far that watering in dry weather is not a problem. In NC I used a soaker hose for them. Also at one home we had them more or less as a privacy shield for the home.. but the winter, of course found us with LESS privacy.
Fortunately the winter in the Carolinas is substantially shorter than up here.
try here for some background info Toby

2004 Bush 60.5
2000 Bush 50.5
1996 Clinton 45.5
1992 Clinton 45.0
To the nearest half million.
Bush received over 20 million more votes than Clinton.

Note to all:
I know a lot of us have been boycotting the Sunday morning news shows.
However, this morning, Tim Russert will have Tony Blair and Mary Matalin on his show. Of course, he will also have CarVile.

I have some heavy duty electric hedge trimmers for brush. go thru 1.5 in wood stems easily. After my spouse clipped the power cord twice within 15 minutes of trimming, spouse person was permenantly banned from even touching the hedge trimmers (there was blood involved as well).

Specifically, Ashcroft condemned a judge's ruling that the President's decision that Al Qa'eda members were exempt from the Geneva Conventions was wrong. The judge's ruling is not only wrong, it's illiterate. The position on Al Queda in the Geneva Conventions is pretty cut-and-dried.

About today's Titans-Bears game, I make no guarantees. Last I heard McNair will probably not start, although that will be a game time decision. Without McNair, the Titans can lose to anyone in this league, especially this year with all the injuries. Still, I do hold out hope that the Bears' last game was a fluke and the Titans can put some points on the board.

Good morning.
The position on Al Queda in the Geneva Conventions is pretty cut-and-dried.
Assuming of course, that one has read the Geneva Convention. It seems that some of these jurists have $hit for brains.

Good morning.
Well, I've got $40 riding on the Titans, so if they lose, I'm blaming you.
;^)
Thank the Lord that the Fish have a bye week.
