Morris is only baiting the Clinton's to take the Dems over a cliff.

Jeb, Guiliani, Franks any of the three destroy Hillary.

What Red State does Hillary turn Blue?

Jeb is not the one unless the landscape changes drastically in the next four years. My suggestion and hope is for Tommy Franks/Gulliani. Could Arnold run for Veep? Any top cabinet position?

All of your suggestions would result in certain defeat. You cannot tell the base of the Republican Party to vote for people they don't agree with. Hold-your-nose and vote for the good of the party doesn't work.

I doubt the GOP will nominate a pro-choice candidate for the top of the ticket. That rules out Mitt Romney. And the word is Condi Rice is also pro-choice.

"Romney/Rice"

I like Owens-Santorum 2008

Women would like to vote for another woman, but I am not so sure they will want to vote for Hillary at all.

Throwing Jeb in there was rediculous. Rudy would win I think if he ran

No way Rudy will be nominated. There is no way the party will nominate a pro-partial birth abortion, pro gay and anti-gun candidate. If he does get it, it will destroy the republican party by shattering the base. I would leave the republican party as I think many other people will.

I guess I can get away saying this because I'm a woman, but neither party is going to nominate a woman as its presidential candidate. This country is just not ready for a woman president or a woman presidential candidate. I also think it's unlikely that either party will nominate a woman as its vice presidential candidate -- unless they have an incredibly strong presidential candidate and are incredibly confident about their base and swing voters.

A three year old could randomly toss darts at a spinning board filled with possible scenarios and be correct more often than Dick Morris. His Condi vs Hitlery scenario is nuts, but maybe he's just saying this for personal reasons. Maybe he wants one of them to win so that he could lobby for a position on their staff. Then he'd be in a much better position to convince one of them to suck his toes. Perhaps that's the driving force behind all of this lunacy - everything Dick says is designed to get him closer to a toe job.

He's probably 100% correct. Some in this forum some are too blinded by hatred to see reality. It may not be pretty, but facts are facts. Face it, the republican party has no one with name recognization to carry 2008. The current administration has to prove itself by not turning on its base of real conservatives and addressing issues at home. If GW screws the next four years up then Jeb wouldn't have a snowballs chance in hell against anyone.

Call me in two years. Two years ago, everyone assumed it would be Gore with the nomination in 2004 for the Democrats.

This guy is nuts. Charles Manson could run against Hitlery and win, who is he trying to kid? This bonafide psycopath has more skeletons in her closet than Jeffrey Dahmer on a binge, and `Rats thought the Swift vets against Kerry was bad? There wouldn`t be enough bookstores in America to hold all the books that would come out against Hitlery. Freggin` TV would be bombarded with commercials from one group after another. I mean just as ONE example (out of thousands), you could have a commercial that shows what went on with the FALN. Can you imagine? Show the limbless cops and victims of the FALN and show how in 2000 Bill Clinton pardoned them so Hitlery could buy votes, even though the FALN was one of the most vicious terrorist groups to attack this country, blowing up NYC and Chicago 130 times in the span of five years. Forget it, she`d be destroyed. She may be able to hide all this in the liberal sphincter hole of the east coast New York, but when she runs National, no freggin` way.

It's too soon to know what will be what in 4 years. Other than that, I don't believe Ms. Rice could win any more than I believe The Beast can win.

Dick has become obsessed with Hitlery - and he still has to sell books now that this election cycle is over....no more punditry for a while.

I'm a woman and I don't want to vote for The Beast or any other woman. I'm not the only woman who feels this way. Not all of us are rabid feminists who want to roar for the sake of roaring.

No,he really isn't wrong about Jeb. There is no way,NONE,that Jeb can run for president in '08 and everyone with more than 3 working brain cells knows it;including Jeb himself.

The howls about AMERICA DOESN'T HAVE KINGS/DYNASTIES, etc.,would bury him.And his daughter's drug problems would be thrown in for good measure;not to mention the left's conspiracy theory about the "stolen" election of '00 would just be the icing on the cake, for the Dems.

OTOH,there are GOPers, other than Condi (who does NOT want to be president),who can beat Hitlery!.

Condi Rice is an excepional human. But, to run her for political office just to capitalize on her skin color is a loser.

---

What are you smoking? I like condi because she is tougher than most the men up there (sad fact).

I could see her very easily as a veep candidate.. i dont know who i would support for pres yet.. Guiliani is okay, but if he does believe in gun control and abortion it is hard for me to vote for him. He does believe in limited government, though, and that is at the core of what matters.

We will see who emerges in 2-3 years.

Good point. I wonder if he could sneak in as the VEEP though? He could certainly pull in votes from more left leaning people or even moderates I would think.

If it's a matter of principle, I find it odd that republicans embraced him when he spoke out in support of Bush but winced at his liberal views. I don't think you can have it both ways. You either love the guy or you hate him. Gray areas come into play when you factor in his power, influence and ability. In such a regard I would agree he would make a terrible president.

It's hard to dismiss his popularity clout with a political spectrum, but I don't think he would make a great president. Cheney and Bush don't see eye to eye on everything, just the most important thing.
