I guess I can get away saying this because I'm a woman, but neither party is going to nominate a woman as its presidential candidate. This country is just not ready for a woman president or a woman presidential candidate. I also think it's unlikely that either party will nominate a woman as its vice presidential candidate -- unless they have an incredibly strong presidential candidate and are incredibly confident about their base and swing voters.

And yet India had a female leader. Margaret Thatcher was one of the greatest PM's Britain has ever seen, second only to Winston Churchhill. If these countries can have female leaders, why not the US?
