Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A new road or a secret gate...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yes, I've heard that (more than from just you). It's supposed to be the top place in the mountain states to retire.

Lots of bookstores... what more can you want... and a Super Wal-Mart, too, which I like.

Except for Boulder. Boulder is an enemy cell. :-)

Hey, you know, after living in Oly all those years and NEVER voting for anyone who actually won an election, I'm pretty happy to say that the district I'm in now elected a pubbie Senator and two pubbie reps. So I'm down here in a Republican cell, about the only one in the City I think. I actually voted for winners - I can't even remember the last time that happened.

SuziQ didn't like it when we talked about how much better Faramir is... I heard that! ;o)
Sean Bean is gonna play a bad guy ( again) in the new movie National Treasure, coming out Nov. 19th. It's an action movie starring Nicholas Cage.

Yeah, it looks like a good rental. I don't like Nicholas Cage - he has dead eyes - and the plot looked really dumb.
Ugh, just in from a 5 hour coding session. My part's working... the back end is integrated... just the front end needs to work and I'm too tired. But I'm ahead on WC for today, so I can go to bed now.

Good morning! It's a beautiful day in America!
It's pretty nice here, too. Very fall-like.

Good morning!
It's beautiful here - clear and cold. 26F, so getting on toward late fall / early winter weather. We had a little sleet yesterday as I was driving in to work...snow will be on its way soon!
Bring it on...

Hey, congrats on getting the 6000! That was the only triple-naught I didn't capture on that thread. ;)Thanks! It seemed a shame to lock the thread three posts away from a triple precious...;-)
