The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Need some housework elves...do ya think Legolas needs a gig?

I don't like to mess with dishes either, so on nights like tonight, no Steve around, we eat easy to fix suppers on paper plates! LOL

Yes. The worst problem I had this morning was getting the ice off the winshield.

Oh my goodness! Paryers going up for Pippin's Dad. When my mother was still living in her house, even though we had a live in caregiver, we always worried about her waking up in the middle of the night and wandering away.

Hope and pray they find him very soon!

It was so clear, I hung a load of laundry. Thankfully it is going to stay clear, since I forgot to take them down!

I'm not very familiar with that one.
I'm in a Mahler mood tonight... listening to Symphony No. 9. ~sigh~

The current setup just doesn't make sense to me.That's why I like the Medical Savings Account set up that is part of the new Medicare Bill. You could set aside up to $4,000.00 per family to pay for out of pocket expenses ( like Dr. visits and stuff) then buy a catastrophic insurance policy for the big ticket items like what Graybeard's wife had to do. We have health insurance with SSQ's company, but before the company pays anything, we have to have paid a $500.00 deductible per person. We might as well not have it for all the use we get out of it. It wouldn't cost $1,000 for all of us to go have a full physical each year!

I see the Hobbit Hole has a distinguished visitor!! You moved the Oscars to the side to make room for him!

Right! That would be an improvement!
Right now we all pay the huge premiums simply to avoid being financially cleaned out for life by a catastrophic injury, but we get no ~real~ medical coverage for the occasional little things I need to see a doctor for. I can't see my doctor unless I am more than $500-sick.

They did find him..... he's fine now!
