The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

And furthermore! I just noticed this fool drew ALL his switches as normally closed open on fall. And there were other switch symbols required on this schematic on the exam.
*elf banging hand into forehead*
I *really* expected more from a guy who already is an electrical engineer. Wonder if he is okay with drafters doing stuff *for* him that is this crappy?
Not picking on you.... need a sympathetic ear!

You know a lot about this stuff. If I ever need to write about meth labs, I'll be asking him.

But you couldn't have gotten anything in or out of it! It was up-side down with no way to open the lid.
But meth lab-wise, I think it is far enough - people get away with it (for a little while) in subdivision garages don't they? - it's a few hundred feet.... the total property size in the fat lines there is 7 acres. The witch's circle is in the red circle there.
- I think you read my (3,400) wrong....I did NOT find Acetone and propane tanks like you might expect if they had left careless waste around from that.... But I don't exclude that they might have done it... related to the barrel or not.

Jen's got you figured out sweetie.

I've gotten fed up with drafters that won't try to use the correct switch symbols. I mean there's a $100 cost difference between a single pole toggle switch and an infrared occupancy sensor!
That 100amp fused disconnect is a whole lot more than 40% more than the 60amp unit. GRRRR

Well... as luck would have it, I *do* know something about meth labs. :-) But only because I went to a DEA training class on meth and the instructor made some right there in the classroom. He made some cocaine into crack too.
Besides... there wouldn't be a meth lab in Hair's part of the county. They're all way out in the woods. Or they're in 18-wheelers that are just running around and around the state in circles.

Howcome he is the only bozo in the class who can't figure out how to make lines meet up and extend 'em and trim em to make right angles and not to overhang or fall short of symbols? He don't need no steeeenking O-Snaps!
If I recall, he has 20-30 years in industry? I've seen the same thing in guys I've worked with, who have that much expirience.

They found a meth lab just last week, out near my school... apparently that's pretty big around here. I thought it was just pills, but apparently meth and heroin are bad here. I'd have never guessed. But then, I'm clueless about the stuff.
Someone once mentioned having smelt marijuana fumes in a room. I'd been there with her, and hadn't noticed anything... I still don't know what it smells like...

Okay, I did misunderstand. I thought you said you *found* those there. And from that point I was just going from there. My mistake.
Far as getting stuff in and out of there it looked like you coulda stuck your hand in and out of that opening where the pony coulda stepped... and hidden small plastic packages in there. Ya'll don't have poisonous snakes to worry about there like we do - do ya?
Small water-proof containers go in there?

If you light grass or hay on fire, pot doesn't smell a lot different than that.

There most certainly IS chili powder and cayenne in spaghetti sauce .... along with cominos! ALWAYS.... otherwise its pretty bland - don't you think msdrby? Think we must be related cuz we gots the same tastebuds.

you coulda stuck your hand in and out of that opening Yeah - I suppose! but it wouldn't have been handy to get stuff in and out. And you couldn't reach the bottom.

So, are you sayin' this electrical engineer shoulda known not to use the same switch on everything? I am just bumfuzzled over this. And from what I hear from the other students he stands in the hallway and talks trash about me not knowing enough to teach him!
I can't figure out if he did this drawing so poorly because he is so stupid or because he thinks *I'm* too stupid to know the difference. I have an entire classtime of lecture on different switches and switch symbols and the importance of getting the *right* one!

I also missed the "pyromania" phase of childhood development so I'm not really sure what those smell like either...
Actually I'm sure I've smelled that, but I have few memories of smell... even worse than I am with things I hear. If I don't see it, it didn't happen.

Maybe they used it to make chili in....

minimum standards.... I think he is only doing what he can to get by cuz he is either too lazy, or thinks he already knows it.

Here's our neighborhood. Of course, Terraserver only has a 1995 image. The streets didn't get built until 2000.
