The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Hi there! Normal enough I guess... got big projects getting into gear so I suppose life won't really be "normal" until about August.

Only trouble with the stash theory is that the top (was really the bottom of the barrel) didn't open, just the small hole - and the hole very well could have been caused by the pony walkin' on it. It looks square in the pic, but we didn't really look to see if it was a cut hole or just a collapse by pony foot.

Alyson just loves to do that and having two hands makes not a whit of difference, except that the poop is spread all the way up to the elbows on BOTH arms instead of one. :-)

It was not put there since I was here. That area up until recently was heavily undergrowth-covered and inaccessible.

Ewwww. I don't even want to think about August yet. New school year. Switching to normal semesters instead of quarters. I have to re-write EVERY lesson plan for
EVERY class then.

You can have a picnic then. And I'll wish I could! :-(

Here is a drum just like it.... my burn barrel.... for size comparison.... What I keep thinkin' about is that I have dug a lot of holes, and it is not easy to dig a big enough hole to bury that thing upside-down but upright and flush with the ground.

My mother accuses me of making a starter chili whenever it is my turn to make the spaghetti sauce... LOL.

(indignantly) waddaya mean there isn't any chili powder or cayenne in spaghetti sauce! At least she still lets me cook at her house, though. My spaghetti must not be that bad.

My chili is purty good (and vey spicy), but PE really likes to make chili, so I let him.

So, I've got this electrical engineer in my Electrical/Electronics drafting class. Howcome he is the only bozo in the class who can't figure out how to make lines meet up and extend 'em and trim em to make right angles and not to overhang or fall short of symbols? And howcome he cannot understand the concept of putting dashed lines around groupings instead of drawing continuous lines?

Is this an engineer thing? Or a stubborn and ignorant student thing?

I just got through grading his final exam and I think he's an idiot.

Ya know. Given a couple of items that you said you'd found in the junk. It's a pretty good bet that it was at one time airtight enough to hide freshly cooked dope in. and it does go with the whole scenario of the witch's circle.

And just how far is this area from anyone who would notice the fragrance coming off a batch of cookin' meth? Gotta cook the stuff far enough out so nobody smells it. And need safe places to put it before you distribute it.... or in case you get raided.

Way too close to the store and other houses to hide a meth lab.

Oh. Blows that idea. She said she found an empty acetone bottle and propane tanks.... sounded pretty likely. But not if it's that close to others. YIKES!

Well, maybe they were distributing and it was storage. And maybe whoever was cooking used the spot to dump some of the extra stuff. I've known way too many people who got caught cause they were dumb enough to put their garbage - IN THEIR GARBAGE.
