The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I am really interested in a metal detector. Ramius used to have one, and I wish he still did.

First thing, Gene is staying with me for class tomorrow night. I hope he stays out of sight. The guy might just do his best behavior thing if he knows he's being evaluated. Can Gene sit in your office unseen but still watch this guy?

WN, you need one of those little spy-cam thingies that the po-up adds are for!
I'm going to work out. Back soon.

I just started Princess Bride. He's still talking about how he ended up sick in bed with his Dad reading the book to him.
I called and left a message about that treadmill, but from the price, I'm thinkin' it's gotta be the cheapest manual model that company (Proform?) makes. So we'll see...if it isn't, I may already be too late, I dunno. It's in NH, so maybe there haven't been AS many people jumping for it. Maybe I'll get lucky! I'm planning on buying the local classified paper - there may be more options there. But I'm not in a hurry...just would be nice to have one someday. I'll wait until a good one at the right price comes along!

That's not the plan. Plan is for confrontation. We already have enough witnesses.

Hi guys,
Just got back from a 2:00 interview. I thought it went well. It was a CPA firm looking for someone to create an Accounting department around for their largest client.
I learned from the receptionist that they received 50 resumes and I was one of the four chosen to come in for an interview.
Please keep praying for me....Thanks.

I don't have a gut feel about why someone went to the trouble to bury that barrel. Mind's a blank on that one!
The rest of the junk we have found is just people bein' lazy pigs. Furniture, crap.... just garbage.
