Thanks for the Welcome. This is not a poem but a reply a wrote to help a fellow freeper being flamed by an atheist one day. The atheist never responded.

"Are we wasting words on vacuum heads again. How many times must I remind us all to leave them alone. Dumb can be contagious. We must believe that the universe and everything in it was created by randomness. Do you think my truck was built in a truck plant by machines and people. No my truck happened when lightning striking a rubber tree growing in some iron ore rich soil. The soil also contained high levels of silica. The lightning struck with such ferocity that tires, seals, glass, and all the metal parts spewed out and bolted themselves together forming my yellow Ford truck. This happens millions of times per year all over the world. Silly of us to think that some intelligent force is necessary to build things. We must enlighten ourselves by reading my book, "Randomness". "In the beginning there was nothing then there was everything". That is the entire book. I feel smarter now? Well I hear thunder, I'm going out back to see if the pile of cow poo I put on that steel pole gets struck. I'm trying to make an Atheist, wish me luck."

Here's a story Sheila told me a couple weeks ago:

The young monk is being trained by Brother Andrews on how to copy the Holy scripts and he asks, "Brother Andrews, how do we know these scripts are accurate after being copied over and over all down the centuries? Isn't it possible that mistakes have crept in?"

"Oh, no," says Brother Andrews. "They are accurate. We keep the original scrolls down in the library for verification purposes. I'll go down now and verify a few passages."

After much time goes by, the young Monk begins to worry. He goes down to the library and finds Brother Andrews slumped over the scrolls crying uncontrollably.

"What's the matter?" he asks.

Brother Andrews sobs, "The word is celebrate. C-e-l-e-b-R-a-t-e!"

The Gen’ral

I‘d say that you’re invalid,
Even though you served.
The Clintons really like you,
That’s why I am unnerved.
You seem to be a sissy,
Too light in your old loafers.
I’d say it seems for Bill and Hill,
You’re just one of their gofers.
Retired your stars and that is best,
For you’ve not got a clue.
I’d vote for Sharpton, Gen’ral Clark,
Before I’d vote for you.

I wrote this poem while under the effects of solar flare. 98% brain function loss

The Liberal Slant

The planes on nine eleven,
Were piloted by him.
The first Gulf War and Viet Nam,
He’s to blame for them.
Korea and sure World War Two,
Once again his fault.
And in there too, Geraldo found,
He looted Capone’s Vault.
Extinction of the dinosaurs,
And yes the Big Bang too.
George Dubaya Bush, he did it all,
And he blames me and you.

Nice tune!

Reminds me of a comment by a sports announcer on a new York radio station a couple of days before the Super Bowl a few years back.

"What's with all these names that begin with the letter 'T?' Tina Turner and Travis Tritt are going to be involved in the halftime show next Sunday -- will Tanya Tucker be making a surprise appearance?"

I like that song -- especially the part where Katy's mother tells her husband that he was no different than Katy's boyfriend when they were younger. LOL.

Those raccoon pictures are so cute.

Looks like the raccoon is a lot smarter that Michaels. How did this guy make it to 27? Sure wonder who has been watching over him.

Thanks, OESY

Well I voted for the Ann Coulter doll to go to my Bro.

He didn't win last year because FTH took a couple of bribes suggestions from someone who has a lot of pull.
