Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

Monday, November 3, 2003

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

"I do share your concern about EOM . . . the guy's dug himself a hole so deep he'll never be taken seriously again if something doesn't happen in the immediate future to justify his threats .."

Neither will I take him/her/them seriously, especially if he posts under a different pseudonym.

Honestly, the only question I have (and it leaves me sceptical) is how someone might have deliberately constructed the 3-image sequence and then added the three specific parts of the search term deliberately. None of the images have anything obvious associated with them, e.g., "luxor" doesn't appear as an association with the Luxor image. (You can see the associations by clicking on the image and then "info" underneath)
< Indeed. So if jihadis somehow stumbled across Mr Wacker's website, they would have no way of finding, for example, the middle image of the plane, because the only terms associated with it are: [5] hu
[2] 7:30
[1] involved
[2] pissb
[3] t-shirts

I am satisfied with my original take on this: the 3 images got randomly assiged to the 3 words when Mr. Lomax originally submitted the search term on the twexus site.

No, that was extrapolated as raw unsubstantiated intel because it was the time of the first post of the arabic phrase repeated three times.

3 is important to Jihadists. The third letter of their alephbet (alphabet) is "Jeem". It has holy connotations; so much so that anything "3" or in multiple of 3's, or words that begin with the letter "Jeem" is highly significant.

He repeated the exact words again at 7:39 PM EST this evening, and has been quiet ever since.

There is not a whole lot of intelligent posting on it though. The whole point seemed to be to just to hit that MAX.

Oh but you're wrong! We're smart Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves, etc. We just like to chit-chat!

Questions....How often do you follow this dude? Is it normal for him to suddenly go quiet?

re post no. 5125....

From reading a followup post regarding 5065; apparently a poster has already contacted the FBI.

Getmain, you explaination doesn't fit with the raw html I have up from the site.

StillProud, are you here? Can you translate Ahlam hu Akhbar? I just tried an online translator, and I got nothing back. I need to know this ASAP, I have to check a word association.

Thanks, it is important.

I understood (perhaps incorrectly) that the associations were automatically added to the seed page. Did you read something different?

He did say that he could remove association terms from the seed, but I don't recall him saying he added them, I assumed they are Twexus generated?

Still there is the question - and this leaves me sceptical - as to how anyone would find those three specific images out of 21,000, and then add the associations in the correct order (or maybe the ordering of the images doesn't really matter?)

It seems like a very tedious and arcane way to convey obscure and elliptic messages. I spent several minutes manually flipping through the pics and couldn't find anything worthy of a "message".

"...the 3 images got randomly assiged to the 3 words when Mr. Lomax originally submitted the search term on the twexus site."

No, again I did not submit the words. The existed there because somebody else, probably EOM, made the connections to them.

To be clear,
what i did was a google for "Alhaam hu Akhbar" which is the phrase EOM posted three times each in two separate posts at 7:30 and 7:39 PM EST this evening.

The google on that phrase was a big zero burger. Nothing.

Then I noticed at the top of the page was the question: Did you mean to search for "Ahlam hu Akhbar".

There were two hits. 2 hits. I chose the second one and the page at the nexus site popped up with those specific images. I did not search for them on the twexus site...the associations for those specific arabic words were pre-existing since 30 december 2003...two full days before I stumbled upon the page during a routine search.

hope that clears it up.

The twesus site is imho used by AQ or somebody with ill intent for America.

Yep, agreed, it's a match to the Luxor.

Makes sense too. And very close to airport, as I recall. Interesting about the Madalay Bay too.

Some interesting seed words (aka meta searches) in that search result page. Sean, I just freep mailed them to you. Comb through them. More words jumped out at me.

Aha. Interesting, so an older photo. Not one readily found now, at least I haven't seen one in searching. So they probably took it a while ago, in that case.

Possibly an older photo, or at such an odd angle that the edge lights do not show.

>>>Honestly, the only question I have (and it leaves me sceptical) is how someone might have deliberately constructed the 3-image sequence and then added the three specific parts of the search term deliberately.

Cause the site has an embedded association to choose these pics with those words. THAT does not mean these pics won't show up in random order with other word associations; BUT these three pics are embedded to associate with this word combination specifically.

HENCE is why it was cached in google for this specific display.
