Rhode Island officials held another press conference on Wednesday as the manhunt for the Brown University shooter dragged into its fifth day – but it didn’t end well.
Two students were killed and nine others critically injured after a gunman opened fire at Brown University on Saturday afternoon.
Brown University President Christina Hall Paxson confirmed that there are 1,200 cameras on campus and all data has been turned over to law enforcement.
However, after five days, the public has only seen a few videos from the surrounding area of Brown University.
Law enforcement on Tuesday released a new timeline and footage of a person of interest in the deadly Brown University shooting.
The footage shows a male with a pudgy belly walking past police just minutes after the shooting that left two people dead.

Providence Police on Wednesday released photos of a person who was “in proximity” of the person of interest in Brown University shooting.
Rhode Island officials promptly ended the press conference on Wednesday after a Latino radio host accused the university of taking down security cameras to shield illegal aliens.
“The camera in that building that Brown pulled off because the sanctuary city law that we have,” the reporter said.
He continued, “You don’t want to record illegal immigrants and you don’t want to provide footage to the FBI or immigration… one camera! They come from your detectives. They are angry that this investigation that these people at Brown University pulled the camera off and you can’t identify the person! You imagine how the families want to go through?”
Providence Mayor Brett Smiley immediately ended the presser as the radio host continued to accuse Brown University of taking down the cameras to shield illegals.
“We heard from both the Brown Police Chief and the Provost at Brown who have shared that they have been…forthcoming with all data and evidence…” Smiley said.

There is little doubt that the killer shouted "Allahu Akbar"(or its equivalent) as he burst into the room.
So yes--the murder does point to "one of their little darlings."
And Brett Smiley, the gay Mayor of Providence, has a husband who is a champion of the Palestinian Jihad. No wonder this whole horrifying mass shooting case is being zombie level slow-walked by the Brown University staff and the Providence Administration.

Well, it’s not a lie if they *purposely* turned off camera(s) so evidence (of whatever kind) couldn’t be made available for various purposes.
Then they could honestly (but disingenuously) say “We gave all the evidence we had!”
It would be interesting to know how many deaf people are in the audience who benefit from the signer. It’s actually painful to watch her translate. Wouldn’t closed captions be enough?

Odds are the shooter is in the Middle East by now and it’s hard to tell whether anyone at Brown is competent and knows what they are doing. That university and town has some serious issues, most of them related to DEI. The Chief Of Police is ESL and gives briefings in Spanish often. Plus, he’s stupid.
My granddaughter goes to Auburn, a great conservative school and I wondered the same thing, not much craziness in the southern universities. Possibly one of her parents went to Brown.
