There’s nothing California Gov. Gavin Newsom hates more than a lying politician.
At least, that’s what he, very condescendingly, told an NBC News reporter during a recent interview.
Oh that is really RICH! The hypocrisy is just astounding.

More like the self licking ice cream cone effect. The more they lick, the more they approve, the more they want, the more they spend to sustain themselves, because it tastes so good.
That may be the case for some nominally normal people, but to a sociopath it is easy as breathing.
My late brother was an officially diagnosed sociopath at the ripe old age of 12. He would lie even when it was unnecessary to do so. He would lie even when telling the truth would be more beneficial.
He was dishonest and would rob you blind if you trusted him.
He had a way with older women when he got to be in his 30’s and essentially became a gigolo. Scamming older women for money and they believed everything he told them.
He was quite charismatic and could have been a really good (or bad) politician...................
The governor of the worst state in the Union for cheating voters out of representation through gerrymandering for years and years, with noncitizens counted for US House seats and the Dems enjoying a supermajority in the state assembly, now stands in front of a sign saying he’s the leader of the crusade to stop the GOP from gerrymandering to “steal” elections.

In his defense, it’s much easier in managing ones political career in America if you just lie about everything. Don’t tell the truth about anything. Bill Clinton explained this perfectly. “Lie big. Never mix lies with truths. Lie so big that anyone questioning your lie would seem crazy to ask, likely committing career suicide”

I didn’t put up with him, my parents did.
I was raised by my grandfather until he became senile when I was 14 and then went to live with them.
There was only 10 months between our ages, me being the eldest. After I came into the family, he was in and out of juvenile most of the time. He ran away from home constantly.
He was dangerous only when he would get angry over some slight.
I had paper routes wherever we lived and would spend my money on model cars, airplanes, rockets and the like, spent hours putting them together.
One day I came home from delivering my papers and found all my models in our shared bedroom smashed to pieces. I never said anything to mom because I knew she would do nothing. I just cleaned up the mess and forgot about it. He had run away again. Cops found him in a town south of where we lived many miles away.
He was incorrigible and was constantly in trouble. He hung around with punks that were just as bad as he was, most of whom he met in Juvey.
He never changed his whole life and died of a drug overdose at the age of 50..........................Still living off mom....................
