The real solution is to have a Muslim country like Jordan or Egypt go in and completely exterminate Hamas. ...the US is applying immense pressure on Israel not to act in a way which would make Hamas withdraw from the ceasefire, even after today’s shocking security incidents in Gaza.
And even though Israel reportedly told the US what it was planning to do before doing it, the understanding on the ground is that at this time, Trump has more say over what happens vis a vis Gaza than Netanyahu does, meaning that we now have injured soldiers as a result of today’s attack, but we can’t throw our proverbial toys out of the cot, lest trump get mad...
