The Department of Justice on Wednesday announced that it is forming a Strike Force to investigate Barack Obama and Obama Administration officials for the coup d’état to defraud and overthrow the incoming President, Donald Trump, in 2016.
The new team will “assess the evidence publicized by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and investigate potential next legal steps which might stem from DNI Gabbard’s disclosures.”
Pam Bondi said in a statement, “the Department of Justice is proud to work with my friend Director Gabbard and we are grateful for her partnership in delivering accountability for the American people. We will investigate these troubling disclosures fully and leave no stone unturned to deliver justice.”

No, Cotton is not drafting legislation to silence DNI Tulsi Gabbard. What he’s doing instead is drafting legislation aimed at restructuring the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). His proposed Intelligence Community Efficiency and Effectiveness Act would significantly reduce ODNI’s workforce by about 60%—and shift some responsibilities to other agencies like the FBI and CIA.
This sounds to me like Pam Bondi saying she is doing something when in fact nothing really is being done.

Okay, are you saying that any president can commit any crime and get a free pass? What if the president were to order the murder of a president-elect? He would face no legal consequence other than an impeachment?
Obama cannot be impeached since he is no longer president. Trump was, but everyone knows that would not hold up in any court if it ever got that far.
The Supreme Court ruled that a president can not be held liable for decisions and actions he made while carrying out his duties as president. It did not say he could not be held liable for committing crimes which don’t involve carrying out his duties as president.
