The US Supreme Court on Wednesday denied Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier’s request for relief from an Obama-appointed judge’s order blocking enforcement of the state’s anti-illegal immigration laws.
Last month, a federal judge held Florida’s Attorney General in contempt of court for enforcing the state’s immigration laws.
Uthmeier previously told the corrupt Obama judge that he will not order state authorities to halt enforcement of immigration law.
US District Judge Kathleen Williams, an Obama appointee, issued an injunction claiming Florida’s (state) law violates the Supremacy Clause in the Constitution in response to a lawsuit filed by the anti-American ACLU.

It didn't take long for the tide to turn after several wins from the court lately.
And this is Clarence Thomas's district.
Is that a double negative? I’m confused …

Bizzaro world we live in.
Many ways around that to aid ICE.
Similar laws in Arizona and Texas were ruled unconstitutional years ago.
Federal supremacy over immigration under Obama was a loss. Federal supremacy under TRump will be, on the whole, a good thing.
A lot of detail I did not see in the article, such as what the Florida law is, what the objection to enforcement is, and the rulings.
The U.S. Supreme Court very rarely takes up “emergency applications” like this. That’s because the SC is an appellate court in almost every application of the law, and there is a very high standard that must be met before the SC will insert itself into a normal appeal process in state and lower federal courts. The “high standard” in this case is that the appellant (Uthmeier) must demonstrate that going through the normal appeal process would subject him to permanent and irreparable harm.
Even Clarence Thomas didn’t buy this argument. It’s not like the U.S. District judge in the case ordered the guy’s execution.
Since they are already criminals by entering this country illegally, or overstaying their visas, why would Florida need another law to enforce what’s already immigration law?
Wish the “supremes” would make up their minds on whose side they are on...America’s or democrats.
Thus will lead to civil disorder from the hunt ‘em down and shoot ‘em crowd.Illegal possees. The Supreme Court has just created a huge mess.
And the feds? They will look the other way.
This decision just means some very bad things for illegal immigrants thanks to the ACLU and the Supremes.
Alligator Alcatraz is going to go viral, there will be one in every county now.
Those recent “wins” were just a ploy by the Roberts-Barrett stop-Trump consortium to pose themselves as fair and open minded so that when they stop Trump on more important cases they can claim they were just judging on the merits and not working against Trump.
Remember those “wins” on birthright citizenship and nationwide injunctions were limited in scope, allowing Roberts and Barrett to flip when those cases come up again for final rulings.
Great point!
The federal government should have total control over immigration as it is a Constitutionally delineated function.
But you know that..:)
So it’s legal for illegals to be legally here?
Mind blowing, isn’t it?
ORDER IN PENDING CASE24A1269 UTHMEIER, FL ATT’Y GEN., ET AL. V. FL IMMIGRANT COALITION, ET AL.The application for stay presented to Justice Thomas and referred by him referred to the Court is denied
Exactly. They will only hear cases and controversies. File a lawsuit alleging that this particular district court judge’s interest in.protecting the democrats’ rice bowl is preempted by federal immigration law, to wit, US Code, Title 8.
Freepers, you need to pay attention to Alberta’s Child when it comes to understanding legal issues. It’s not as simple as “Republicans good, Democrats bad.

These are all negatives, way more than double.
I don’t trust the SCOTUS at all. They hate Trump and will try to stop him any chance they get. Someone sooner or later has to tell them to get lost.
Good post. Thanks.
