Why did Justice Kagan oppose nationwide injunctions in 2022 but support them now?

@ScottJenningsKY : "In 2022, Justice Kagan actually gave an interview and said out loud what a lot of conservatives have been saying this year, which is that how can it be that an individual district court judge can issue a nationwide injunction and effectively grind a presidency to a halt and, you know, take years and years and years for it to go through the process?"

"Now, she obviously voted the other way this time around. I wonder what caused her to change her opinion."

The issue is never the issue, the issue is always the revolution.

Dean of Harvard law

No serious academic wants to be dean. Your problems now include what kinds of cookies to put out for the weekly visiting speaker colloquium. It's not leading the academic debate [? what debate we are talking Harvard here where the right doctrines are long settled], but overlording the administrivia so the hack leftist professors can profess.

The Constitution, it’s a living and breathing document and it lives and breaths the way these communists say it does.

Because she’s a hack. She is of course a judicial giant compared to the other two Dem Justices, but she was a DEI prof at Harvard, like Pocahontas.

Anyone who remembers who was the President in 2022 and who is President now knows the answer.

Kagan, an Obama appointee, was always a political person as much as, or more than, a legal scholar.

“”All the above, and more?””

Selective judicial administration... which is contrary to the US Constitution. She should be fired, at the very least. And that goes for all of the Democrats and RINOs that took an oath to uphold the Constitution in order to get their phoney baloney jobs.

Identity Politics- Kagan, Brown, Obama, Raskin, Rice and the democrats are counterrevolutionaries (which in itself is unlawful) and should be charged and brought before the bar to face criminal charges- but of course will not be because it’s all just a money game

I listened to the oral presentations when presented. From the questions she asked, I think she was focused on the issue being birthright citizenship and not universal injunctions. The UJ took lower priority with her.

Regardless of why, reality is that she is now on the record forever as supporting universal injunctions.

Why? Easy. She’s a politician in a robe. When it’s against her side it’s bad but ok now because it’s a republican presidency. Typical hypocritical democrat.

“ Trump Derangement Syndrome”

The politiical accension of Trump painted all colors brighter and pulled back all the veils that covered the most corrupted system the Earth has seen since Rome…at least. Kagan is a little, tiny, yet fat and ugly, example of that…but there are, literally, millions of those examples. It’s all been exposed and is in the open.

Will that destroy it eventually, will it live past the 12 years of Trump domination of the scene? Impossible to know until we live it, but there is a chance anyway of creating something that lasts. There will be plenty capable of carrying it on, finishing the job. And being with and of Trump may be as big a deal in the 21st century as being with and of Lincoln was in the second half of the 19th.
