“At the end of the day, this isn’t just about Bannon vs. Levin. It’s about the future of the conservative movement.”

~~~
I often hear (and read) statements like this.
People say it with a sense of finality. As if one “side” is finally going to prevail and wrest full control over a party or a “movement” and the rest well walk away vanquished, never to be seen nor heard again.
I’ve been around to long to accept that premise.
Ultra Sonic 007 said it best the other day:
I don’t think Mark Levin understands just how tired Americans have become of conflict in the Middle East. Cheerleading for the US to become more involved is, quite frankly, tone deaf at this point.
I like and respect Mark Levin but he has to understand that Trump is not going to send US soldiers to fight Iran, period, full stop.
If Levin wants to exterminate the Iran mullahs, he will have to do it himself (Israel cannot do it alone).
Ultimately, regime change MUST come directly from the Iranian people. There is no other option without extending the quagmire.
For once, let the Europeans take out the mullahs. It’s closer to their neck of the woods and they have the most to gain from it.
Personally, I’d ignore the both of those two bums.
I used to like Levin, as I helped Biggirl host the show on FR, back in 2014-15-16, but won’t watch or listen to him, anymore. He changed noticeably, and not for better, IMO.
Levin was a staunch NeverTrumper for years,
Nonsense, Levin said he was no longer a NeverTrumper in September 2016 and that he was voting for Trump.
So much for the credibility of this author ...
To save my sanity, I tune out all these bleating trumpets designed to create constant agitation. As my father once told me decades ago—worry about things you can change and don’t worry about the things you can’t and may you have the knowledge to know the difference between the two.
with that in mind I am going to enjoy Ham Radio Field Day this weekend—where thousands of hams across the country drag their equipment from the “shack” and into the wilds to play “radio”
In my case its a five acre backyard with plenty of trees in the wrong places and crucnchy grass typical of this time of year in the Gold Country of Northern California. I will be testing out all sorts of antennas I have—some 20 different styles with some having many configurations. In fact, yesterday I built a variation of a known antenna that I hope will give fellow hams a leg up in quickly deploying this antenna in the field that is not commonly otherwise used.
So it won’t be about contacts per se thie Field Day, but testing of equipment and the various radios. Might even delve into some digital too, if I have time.
73!
Mark is gonna be 68 this year. Always assumed he would not age well.
But more to the point, it comes down to this -- he's probably at the end of his last contract extension with FoxNews, which was last re-upped 2022 for reported 10M a year.
He's either trying to get re-upped one last time, or shouting as he gets dragged out the back door a la Chatsworth and BOR.
This is the salient part of the article, and what many here still fail to grasp:
America First means exactly that. putting our people first. It doesn’t mean we ignore threats or let our enemies grow stronger—we’re not isolationists. But it does mean we stop fighting other people’s wars and focus on the threat we have right here at home. It means understanding the difference between a strategic strike on a nuclear site and another failed regime change disaster that costs American lives and achieves absolutely nothing.
Trump gets it. So does the majority of his base. But the old guard still wants more war.
It's why these pro Zelenskyy fans here support the war at all costs, while ignorantly calling us Putin supporters.
I wonder if Levin has dual citizenship. He needs to check his loyalties.
“They want chaos, conflict, and casualties, as long as it’s someone else’s kid paying the ultimate price.”
And that’s huge. Not only is the fact that someone else’s kids are paying the ultimate price, but also they’d be dying for countries NOT AMERICA. Fighting for America is one thing, but sending American youth to die for another country is beyond despicable.
Another Levin bashing thread . 3rd in 3 days.
No Bannon attacks. Interesting.
Trump dumped Bannon and he is very close to Levin. They talk daily.
Never Liked Levin.
Bannon was great during the pandemic, but you must remember Trump told Bannon “YOU’RE FIRED!”
Nobody loves Steve Bannon more than Steve Bannon.
