Cutthroat war between Bannon and Levin erupts…
Revolver News ^

Posted on 06/25/2025 8:38:39 AM PDT by Red Badger

There’s a war brewing on the right, and this one isn’t in the desert; it’s on the airwaves and social media. On one side is Steve Bannon, a populist voice leading the America First base. On the other side is Mark Levin, beating the war drums like a man possessed, lashing out at anyone who dares suggest we stay out of another endless Middle East bloodfest.

Watch:

MANY VIDEO CLIPS AT LINK....................

Levin’s been beating the war drum since the moment this conflict hit the radar.

Mark Levin:

TIME IS NOT ON OUR SIDE Iran yet again dragging its feet, apparently rejects unconditional surrender, and hoping we will capitulate to its demands. They apparently believe they can get a beneficial deal. Who’s giving them that impression? Meanwhile, China is using the delay to send cargo planes of likely military resources to the terror regime.

It’s getting ugly. Fast.

Mark Levin has gone off the rails in recent days, viciously pushing for war and attacking anyone who questions military escalation. Peace isn’t on the table for Levin.

Image

Levin was a staunch NeverTrumper for years, fighting harder than most to stop President Trump. Sure, he eventually came around, but is he truly America First, or just another establishment lackey riding Trump’s coattails when it became convenient?

Grace Chong:

MTG: Mark Levin was one of the biggest Never Trumpers. Makes me sick. Now he’s blowing up Trump’s phone and showing up at the WH demanding for America to go to every single foreign war on behalf of Israel. And it’s people like him and Lindsey Graham and all these other people that never really supported Trump in the beginning. I’ve spent millions, 5 years defending Trump while neocon suck ups bailed.

Levin’s mindset is built on either cheering for strikes and going to war beside Israel, or you’re somehow disloyal and unpatriotic. Levin was once a voice for constitutional conservatism but now sounds more like a spokesman for the Israeli defense ministry.

This internal war has been brewing for a while. We recently covered the heated clash within MAGA, as the anti-war faction is butting heads with the neocons.

Revolver:

There’s a real rift bubbling up inside the MAGA movement right now, and it’s all about Iran and Israel. Some see it coming, some don’t want to admit it, but it’s there. And like it or not, it needs to be talked about before it tears a hole straight through the America First base.

First, the facts on the ground: Israel’s been pounding Iran with airstrikes, mainly because they now have easy access through Syrian airspace.

That became possible after Assad was weakened and pushed aside, flipping the whole Syrian chessboard and putting that airspace back in play. With that door open, Israel can hit Iran whenever it wants, and they’re not wasting any time.

[…]

But here’s the problem: a large chunk of the right-wing populist, anti-war crowd sees this for exactly what it looks like: the opening act to yet another endless Middle East fiasco. Sure, Israel is handling it solo for now, but how long before Uncle Sam gets dragged into this pending mess?

Sound familiar? It should. Anyone with a memory knows how the Bush-era “Weapons of Mass Destruction” lie cost us trillions of dollars, thousands of good American lives, and gave us exactly zero regime change success stories. It left a scar on the American psyche, especially the MAGA crowd, who are tired of sacrificing their kids for dusty foreign airstrips and broken promises.

And now we’re being told, once again, that Iran is teetering on the brink of a nuke. To the populist side, that line smells an awful lot like déjà vu, except this time they suspect Israel’s intelligence community has been whispering sweet doomsday scenarios to keep us primed for conflict.

You can’t blame them for being suspicious. We’ve all been burned before.

Supporting Israel’s right to defend itself is one thing. But what Levin is talking about isn’t defense, this is about pushing America into yet another unwinnable, unending “Biblical-style” conflict based on emotion and tribal loyalty. Levin’s priorities are showing, and they’re not America First.

And that’s exactly what Bannon called out.

Bannon to Trump: The warmongers are turning on you…

In a recent podcast segment, Bannon addressed President Trump directly.

Grace Chong:

BANNON: President Trump, I hope you understand the great unmasking is here. You’re sitting there trying to negotiate a deal. And look what that little jackal @LindseyGrahamSC is doing. And @marklevinshow calling you out on Twitter. Because they knew you were working on getting the guns laid down. These hyenas. They’re jackals. They feed off death and destruction. What Levin and Fox did in Ukraine, cheerleading for war. And where is Ukraine now? A million people dead and wounded. Uh-huh. Mearsheimer is right. They’ll keep pushing until the last Ukrainian.

Bannon’s message was simple: These people don’t want peace. They don’t want Trump’s foreign policy wins. They want chaos, conflict, and casualties, as long as it’s someone else’s kid paying the ultimate price.

Levin responded with rage and personal attacks.

He called Bannon a “convicted fraud,” a “liar,” a “POS,” and more. No debate. No policy points. Just personal attacks and character assassination.

Mark Levin:

Steve Bannon, a disgusting fraud. Nobody gives a sh*t about what you, Bannon, a confessed and convicted fraudster has to say. You’re a liar. You cheated how many people? At bottom, you’re a certified disgusting fraud. And it shows every time you open your big mouth. You opposed our great military and commander in chief at a time when they acted to destroy Iran’s nukes. 80% of Americans backed the operation. You and your tiny cabal of lunatics gave aide and comfort to the enemy. Now you prance around like you support our country rather than apologize for your outrageous disloyalty. And you stabbed the president in the back in the middle of battle despite the fact he pardoned your sorry ass for God knows what. You’re a contemptible POS. You always will be a certified, convicted, confessed fraud who ripped off patriotic Americans.

It’s clear Levin doesn’t want a discussion. He wants obedience to the cause he’s fighting for relentlessly: war and regime change.

But there’s one problem. This isn’t the early 2000s anymore. The American people are waking up. We’ve seen too many wars sold to us through lies, fear, and emotional manipulation, only to watch our sons and daughters come home in flag-draped coffins while defense contractors cash in. That playbook is done.

The faction of the Right that still worships at the altar of the failed Bush-era interventionism, the Levins, Grahams, and the military-industrial cheerleaders, is aging out. And they know it. That’s why they’re lashing out. Because they feel the shift.

America First means exactly that. putting our people first. It doesn’t mean we ignore threats or let our enemies grow stronger—we’re not isolationists. But it does mean we stop fighting other people’s wars and focus on the threat we have right here at home. It means understanding the difference between a strategic strike on a nuclear site and another failed regime change disaster that costs American lives and achieves absolutely nothing.

Trump gets it. So does the majority of his base. But the old guard still wants more war.

Meanwhile, the polls show exactly how sick the American people are of that outdated way of thinking.

Look:

At the end of the day, this isn’t just about Bannon vs. Levin. It’s about the future of the conservative movement. Do we return to the tired neocon playbook of endless wars and patriotic-sounding lies? Or do we stay focused on the real fight—fixing this country, securing our borders, ending the weaponization of government, and defending our economy, culture, and way of life?

The warmongers want us distracted and divided. But we’ve seen this movie before. And this time, we’re not falling for the failed plot.

Let the jackals howl. The American people are staying focused and staying home.

Bannon is MAGA though, Mark Levin was an anti-Trumper even though he claims he’s on the Trump train now.

This is the salient part of the article, and what many here still fail to grasp:

It means understanding the difference between a strategic strike on a nuclear site and another failed regime change disaster that costs American lives and achieves absolutely nothing.

Trump gets it. So does the majority of his base. But the old guard still wants more war.

It's why these pro Zelenskyy fans here support the war at all costs, while ignorantly calling us Putin supporters.

I know I will never listen to Levin again after he repeatly savaged President Trump while he was running for President the first time and for the first year after.

He crossed a line for me and I am done.

Attacking President Trump all through the campaign AFTER he was the candidate was only helping Hilary Clinton. Yet he persisted just like Glenn Beck. I am done with both of them.

Mark Levin was an anti-Trumper even though he claims he’s on the Trump train now.

In September 2016 he changed his mind and said he would vote for Trump.

I'm not sure Bannon does though.

I'm sorry, that is an ignorant statement. If you knew Bannon you would understand why I say that.

Bannon is a solid Trump supporter, and always has been. That doesn't mean that Bannon is perfect, and thus immune to being concerned that Trump is being taken advantage of. That is Bannon's concern, and it is also a sincere concern amongst many Trump supporters.

I just happen to be one that believes that Trumps actions are being guided by the Lord, which is the main reason I too do not get concerned when Trump makes a move that appears to indicate that Trump is straying from the America First movement.

It's not really trust in Trump, but rather in the Lord. 😁👍

Trump is after all, only human if he were totally on his own. 👍

Concur about trusting in the LORD first.

As for Bannon, ...

President Donald Trump unleashed on his former chief strategist and campaign chairman Wednesday, issuing a long and unusual statement questioning Stephen Bannon’s mental stability, honesty and political influence.

“Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.”

Trump continued, “Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base - he’s only in it for himself.”

I wonder if Levin has dual citizenship. He needs to check his loyalties.

“They want chaos, conflict, and casualties, as long as it’s someone else’s kid paying the ultimate price.”

And that’s huge. Not only is the fact that someone else’s kids are paying the ultimate price, but also they’d be dying for countries NOT AMERICA. Fighting for America is one thing, but sending American youth to die for another country is beyond despicable.

Having a hobby helps one tune out all the constant chattering and horn bleating by all sides. Its all designed to keep one in a state of perpetual agitation. Forget it.... Think about the islanders out in the Pacific not affected by the constant chorus—instead focusing on fishing to tonight’s dinner...

Truly—we are suffering from 1st world problems-with little relief in sight.

Another Levin bashing thread . 3rd in 3 days.

No Bannon attacks. Interesting.

Trump dumped Bannon and he is very close to Levin. They talk daily.

Never Liked Levin.

Bannon was great during the pandemic, but you must remember Trump told Bannon “YOU’RE FIRED!”

Nobody loves Steve Bannon more than Steve Bannon.

Well, Trump can say that, but the truth is that Steve Bannon has been a major force behind Trump's success.

I agree with the majority of what Bannon says, but I also disagree with Bannon as well.

I think Trump just is distancing from Bannon, in order to avoid the controversy that Bannon brings, because he has more than enough to deal with. But I believe that Trump knows that Bannon is not crazy, nor has he lost his mind. Instead, he speaks his mind which may sound crazy, as the truth often does. Trump does the same, and for many he too sounds crazy. Both are as crazy as a fox, and both know & acknowledge that truth, and see each other with respect.

Neither are responsible for the success of the other, but they both realize that they actually compliment each other, and that they provide their best help by being seen as being adversarial with each other at certain times.

Both are smart men, and both men know that they learn things from each other, and sometimes that learning process is ugly, yet necessary.

I have a friend from high school days who have a similar shared life experience, which is why I understand the kind of relationship they have forged. 😁👍

Both Bannon & Navarro both went to prison for the Presidency & the preservation of the powers of the Executive Branch.

OK, I got Glenn Beck and him mixed up on the timing, but he still went hard on President Trump until right before the election. I still don’t like him and will never listen to him again.
