Chuck Schumer went on The View, apparently in search of friendly interlocutors. He preached the Democrats’ old-time religion:
“We are united in going after Trump, and showing the American people that he is making the middle class pay for the tax cuts on the rich. …
“He wants to use that money for tax cuts for the billionaires. The Republican Party is a different kettle of fish than it used to be, and that’s why we’re fighting them so hard,” Schumer continued. “They are controlled by a small group of wealthy, greedy people, and you know what their attitude is? ‘I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me? I don’t want to pay taxes.’”
Never mind that most billionaires (most who are active in politics, anyway) are Democrats. The Democratic Party is rolling in dough, mostly because they are the party of the rich. And, billionaires aside, the Democrats’ best demographic is voters who earn more than $200,000.
Nevertheless, to hear Schumer and other Democrats talk, you would think that Joe Hill is going to be their next presidential candidate. It is remarkable that after all these years, the Dems, unlike the Republicans, have not been able to come up with a new way of seeing themselves. They are stuck in the same old rut.

They don’t even believe what they say.
It’s a very old script they memorized in the ‘70s.
Jonathan Tobin’s 13-minute blistering of Lizard King Schumer:

It kind of changed.
Republican party is now the party of working people.
Dems are party of trans, and virtue signaling rich, snobs, etc.
Says the old rich guy.
Says the old rich guy who's in control of a small, wealthy, greedy group of people.
“I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me?” You’re freakin’ a right Chuck. How dare my government steal my money.
Why is it that the GOP can’t counter this bull crap? The top 10% of income earners (i.e., the “rich”) pay 72% of all IRS receipts while the bottom 50% of income earners pay less than 3%. The rich deserve a tax break, not an increase. They are the ones who invest in our economy, cause economic growth, and create new jobs, NOT the gov’t.
For some distorted reason, we denigrate the rich and praise the poor. Why? How many of you were hired by a poor person? People hate Bezos because of his wealth. Why? He became a millionaire years ago and, instead of buying a yacht and sailing around the world eating bon-bons, he plowed the money back into Amazon. So, unless you feed, clothe, and shelter 250,000+ souls because of your efforts, stop hating the rich, sit down, and STFU.

One of the oddest mysteries to me is why anybody ever voted democrat after LBJ. That was a lesson right there. Unbelievable!
Who will replace Schumer? Pubbies need the oppo research disseminated and ready to go.
That Watergate thing upset a few voters.
He preached the Democrats’ old-time religion:
And now he’s a multi millionaire few of them aren’t.
Has anyone ever talked in private to Schumer about this stuff? No one could honestly be that astronomically stupid.
Too bad they aren't united in trying to make the United States better for everyone instead of spending all their energy on hate.
bkmk
“I’ll have those n***ers voting Democrat for the next 200 years”, said LBJ upon instituting welfare.
