A radical federal judge has moved to block former President Donald Trump’s efforts to secure America’s borders and protect its citizens.
On Saturday, Chief Judge James E. Boasberg, an Obama-appointed leftist, granted a temporary restraining order to stop the Trump administration from deporting thousands of Venezuelan nationals under the Alien Enemies Act—an action well within the executive’s constitutional authority.
This outrageous ruling comes after far-left groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Democracy Forward, rushed to court in a desperate bid to shield illegal immigrants from deportation.
Their lawsuit, J.G.G. v. Trump, seeks to upend Trump’s lawful enforcement of immigration laws, arguing that invoking the Alien Enemies Act—a wartime measure historically used to remove hostile foreign nationals—is somehow “unprecedented” and “unlawful” during peacetime.

If they are overruled on appeal, they must take a refresher course on the Constitution. Then, they have to pass a test by 100% to continue in the branch or except retirement from law.
They do not have the authority, it does not rust with the judiciary, in spite of what a few will say. Funny how those same people totally supported Barry, correctly pointing out where the authority rested, but now they forget.
They keep getting overruled on appeal, but they slow things down.”
I wish that was true. By my count only 2 have been partially overruled. There are well over a dozen still in place
Including the one ordering tens of thousands of fired workers back on the taxpayer payrolls.
Trump should go on TV before the nation and make his case how unconstitutional the radical judges are and that he’ll ignore their injunctions.”
They will not give him the airtime just like the first term. Trump is going to have to go Jackson soon.
It’s gotten to the point he sure probably needs to ignore when he can
DOGE him, this guy is dirty as hell
He needs to quote Andrew Jackson: He’s made his ruling, let him try to enforce it.
Transport these fine visitors to the front of this judge’s house. Supply some beer.
It will be voided by an appeal court.
Presidential power of this sort cannot be nullified by the courts.
It is well within the President’s power to invoke the act and to see it carried out.
No personal reference to you intended...
These guys would put the wood in Earl Warren’s boxers wouldn’t they?
Well then illegals can enjoy a stay at club Gitmo until this is overturned.
Another Deep State judge
Each other’s
It’s a group thing
Ignore the damned judges then. If Democrats will not follow rule of law, then neither they nor their clientele will be protected by law.
It is bad times coming. So be it. We cannot survive with a system where Republicans must follow "laws" which Democrats can freely ignore or change at a whim.
Demorats just contiue to prove they’ve been abusing our Justice system for a very long time....they’re still doing it!
And it is simply no surprising that a Democrat judge would order a halt to an executive order from a Republican President. "Laws" have nothing to do with this order.
And where is Rule 65? In Federal orders for an injunction of for immediate relief the requesting party most post a bond to cover the costs of the defendants' legal expenses if the plaintiff loses the case. That bond for this case would also need to cover the estimated costs of jailing the Venezuelans, releasing the Venezuelans, and the costs of any crimes the Venezuelans might commit after release.
That is what happens when a plaintiff loses a case for immediate injunctions. They lose the bond amount. The court is not allowed to set the bond at some nominal amount either; it must be according to expected "reasonable and customary" expenses.
That is the law. It is a long-settled law that has been completely ignored for every one of these injunctions from the Democrat judges.
Laws? The Democrats don't need no stinking laws.
This court order is completely illegitimate and should be ignored.
