The U.S. Army just made it official—transgender individuals are no longer allowed to enlist, and all gender transition procedures for current service members are coming to a halt. This isn’t a suggestion. It’s a directive. The Pentagon is shutting down an era of social experiments within the military, and the message is clear: identity politics have no place in national defense.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s memo leaves no room for doubt. Effective immediately, new enlistments of individuals with gender dysphoria are paused, and gender-related medical procedures—including surgeries and new hormone treatments—are off the table. The military isn’t a platform for activism, and the days of taxpayer-funded transition surgeries are over.

Unless all Trans enlisted personnel are discharged in one big effort, it’s going to take several years to remove them all from active duty. Just the fact that more are not being invited in or permitted to undergo ‘gender surgery’ will bring a new perspective for all. The tail will no longer be wagging the dog.

I didn’t know it until recently but Jamie Farr who played Klinger is a hard-core conservative.
The organization I work for is very woke.i joined a vets group with this organization which basically means I get emails about vets from them.
The first email I received from this social group was “an interview with a trans vet.” What a joke!
So I’m especially happy to see these freaks pushed out of the military.
America needed Hegseth long ago.

Don’t all tanks, APCs, mobile howitzers, etc have trannies? Good tranny fixers are critical to our readiness.
They require constant medical care after surgery. If they have not been castrated yet, they will require hormones at a minimum. Most will be offered medical discharges and the VA will absorb their care. Their community of peers will shrink, they may find the environment less than welcoming and may take the medical discharges.
Now get the Army DOGE team to analyze all promotions and assignments for the last 30 years and how many were handed out based on DEI principles.
What happens to all of the people that have gone in for a botched up tranny surgery? Every single tranny surgery is a complete butcher job. Are they now disabled for life? On disability and Tricare for the rest of their lives because of these surgeries?
I guess that was probably the plan. More for them, less for combat vets.
