Interesting! Didn’t Trump offer security to both Pelosi and the Speaker Pelosi? They both turned it down.

It seems to me, any special security provisions for January 6th would need to first be requested and or approved by Speaker Johnson.

What this tells me is that Kamala, as acting VP will refuse to certify the election if Trump wins in November. And they are preparing the groundwork for the protests that will follow. I don’t know what pretext they will use to not certify the election, but there are a number of possibilities.

If Trump wins, look for stories to ramp up about Russia hacking the election, and new, false claims about Trump colluding with them. Trump’s sentencing in the New York case may also play a role, although I imagine a speedy appeal and reversal from SCOTUS will likely prevent any significant jail time for Trump. Also, keep your eyes open for false flags blamed on Trump supporters, ramped up tensions on the international stage that they will somehow try to tie to Trump.

The case against certifying Trump’s election doesn’t have to be compelling. It just needs to serve the purpose of stopping Trump from taking office.

Every State can send electors of their choosing, if it’s a dem State and Trump wins the State, the dem legislature can electic to send electors only for Harris, and NOTHING can be done about it. Each State sends it’s own electors, they go with the popular vote, but they don’t have to.
