It sounds like our fearless leaders will throw their bodies into the sun to protect us from the heat.
Let me thank them in advance for their service.

This demented idiot liberal Democrat Resident of the White House is condemning the American people, all because he and his minions have really evil motives. The rest of us are not dumb, but suffering under this fool.

Not sure if it is a good idea for President Braindead should be calling people dumb. The only cure to Global Warming is higher taxes and mail in ballots.

I noticed during the first big wave of heat here a couple of weeks ago, the predicted highs were all 4 and sometimes 6 degrees higher than actuals. On all these days, the actual temperature was in the high 80’s and the forecast temps were all in the 90’s.
Not the I don’t trust the government or anything, but...

Climate changes- joey bags- always has. And in the 1930s we had similar climate to now. We’re not dumb— YOU are for trying to sell this pile of crap like some rainmaker out West. Hucksters. What we don’t accept is that climate change is due to HUMAN causes (cars, energy use, C02, etc.)— because we KNOW it is due to solar cycles established over decades of research.

Biden hasn't done a thing about summer heat.
I, on the other hand, have queried ChatGPT....
Sure, here are ten extremely creative and outlandish ideas to cool the USA during the summer:
- Sky-High Icebergs: Tow massive icebergs from the Arctic and strategically place them in the Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes. The cold air generated would create a cooling effect across large swathes of the country.
- Floating Ice Cream Cities: Construct enormous, floating ice cream factories in the oceans that produce and release millions of tons of ice cream into the water. The cool ocean currents would then help regulate coastal temperatures.
- Giant Reflective Balloons: Release millions of gigantic, reflective helium balloons into the stratosphere. These balloons would reflect sunlight back into space, reducing the amount of heat reaching the surface.
- Cloud-Seeding Drones: Deploy fleets of cloud-seeding drones to create artificial clouds that provide shade and reduce ground temperatures across major cities.
- Frozen Skyscrapers: Design skyscrapers with a facade made of ice. The ice would be continually replenished from internal cooling systems, effectively turning these buildings into giant, urban ice packs.
- Solar-Powered Cooling Stations: Set up massive solar-powered cooling stations in deserts and other hot areas. These stations would generate electricity to power gigantic fans and misting systems that create cool air zones.
- Arctic Wind Tunnels: Construct enormous wind tunnels from the Arctic to the USA, funneling cold, polar air directly into hot regions during the summer months.
- Temperature-Reversing Roadways: Develop special roadways made of materials that absorb heat during the day and release it at night, effectively reversing the temperature cycle and cooling down urban areas.
- Underwater Ice Pipelines: Build a network of underwater pipelines that transport ice-cold water from the polar regions to coastal cities. The water would be used to cool public spaces and infrastructure.
- Giant Fan Arrays in the Rocky Mountains: Erect colossal arrays of wind turbines in the Rocky Mountains that, instead of generating electricity, act as fans to blow cool mountain air down into the plains and valleys.

Maybe Joe should offer a window air conditioner by deducting $100 from food stamps.
I grew up in the hot humid South without air conditioning, neither at home or at school. I don't remember anything particularly horrible. I don't even remember the heat actually. It was weather. Normal weather.
I worked heavy construction in 95 degree weather and high humidity. Again, it was weather. It is what it is.

Um, Joey NOAA is forecasting a high temperature of 101 today here in central Kansas. Late last December we bottomed out at -12. Imagine that Joey, hot in the summer and cold in the winter in Kansas. I’m not too worried about it. Pray for some rain old man, my soybeans need a drink.
