Thanks for doing that.

Now that Massie has introduced a resolution that effectively neuters the J6 committee, we need to keep the pressure on the RINO’s to pass that resolution.

It’s also a reflection of the weak Republican house leadership at the time (Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise and Tom Emmer). Nancy Pelosi would never have tolerated that type of dissent in her party.

“Nancy Pelosi would never have tolerated that type of dissent in her party.”

So the question is in a “free” republic, should political parties be dictatorial or should representatives of the people be independent actors particularly if their constituents disagree with the party line.

The reason Nancy Pelosi could avoid that sort of dissent is the Media were entirely on her side.

Change the Media from being a part of the Democrat/Progressive/Deep state cabal. Put them at the beck and call of Mike Johnson (speaker of the house), and you would have party discipline such as Nancy Pelosi had.

All of these rinos ran as Republicans but are Dems and only wanted the financial backing to get elected, then, once they qualified for their fat retirement checks elected to retire.

***********************

That is a very good question.

IMO a political party should be disciplined enough to accomplish the policies they & their constituents supposedly favor. This usually only happens if the executive and legislative branches are the same party.

Yet, I think it’s good for parties to have vigorous debates about issues and policies both within the party & against the other party.

I don’t want a “rubber stamp” dictatorial party, but I’m also sick of ‘maverick’ Republicans and their stupid shtick.

I got the ick factor of Nancy Mace when she told everyone how her boyfriend wanted sex but she had to go to work and there would always be later.
