How about using a little common sense? That once you die, there is nothing...no "God" to grant you eternal life.
Humans would revert back to out and out savagery. The "haves" would be wiped out. "Civilization" by definition would be extinct.
A) The Truth is too terrible and would destroy human civilization.
B) The tech advantage of keeping the secrets to a small group would enable a breakaway civilization of elites who could control everything.
C) Because they themselves don't know what's going on.
Indeed, or an advanced civilization capable of sending powerful radio/light signals out could have died out billions of years ago. Or conversely a billion years from now. The amount of power and size to radiate a signal out to our Galaxy is unfathomable let alone a moving target like Earth is quite imaginary.
We were taught stuff like this in 5th grade back in the 60’s, yet today’s schools today are more concerned with putting men and trannies in girl’s bathrooms, shower, and sports calling them the opposite sex. Sad.
