Reporting from Western New York: gas price at my local gas station jumped $0.13 in the last 24 hours. I've never seen a hike that fast. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?
I already see gold prices shooting up. Is this gas price? Starting to catch up to it now?

Ukraine has continuing drone strikes on Russia oil capabilities and Russia has banned oil exports thru Aug.
Summer fun in the US will not be cheaper.

Summer blend fuel is more expensive. They Jack up the price ahead of time because they have to shut down the refinery to switch over.

Ours here in Indiana went up 10, 15, and/or 20 cents three days in a row. Then was stable a couple of days then some went down and some went up more.

Okay, I’ll give you 9/11. saw a huge spike, then went back down in a couple weeks.
Like most of us, I’ve been watching gas prices since I’ve been driving. I’ve seen a nickel a day on a steady stream before - just before the Dems start fussing at Big Oil about ‘price gouging’.
But from seeing all these comments, and the other puke-fest going around the world (and here), I’m getting an uneasy feeling about this. If it’s this bad now, I wonder what it’s gonna be like AFTER the tax deadline?

I have seen gas price hikes in the past much larger than that in a day.
Still, WHY is not know for cheap gas for sure. You guys have been getting taken to the cleaners for years.
