Probably because they either want to start a city owned Uber business or somebody wants to start a city wide Uber business.

They’re probably trying to appease the mooselimb drivers, that would be my guess.

Well, if we hear of a new ride hailing firm called: “Allah-Uber”, we’ll now know why.

Well, if anyone bothered to read the article, it's because Minneapolis passed an ordinance that mandated these rideshare companies raise the wages that they're paying their drivers if they want to continue doing business in Minneapolis.
Uber and Lyft said, "No thanks."

They are communists no other reason needed.

As I stated on yesterday’s thread. Look into the council member’s relationship with the taxi companies. Licensing, regulation, ownership, etc.
The cab co.s are high in muslim employee counts. Mpls. Congressional district is Ilhan Omar’s, muslim terrorist sympathizer.
It’s all tied together, I’m betting.

Because the members of the city council are mucking forons.
Next question, please.

Simple vote pandering with other peoples’ money. There is also some amount of political influence here being applied by Taxi Company Unions.

And now the drivers will discover that the actual minimum wage is zero (but the council won’t).

As I stated on yesterday’s thread. Look into the council member’s relationship with the taxi companies. Licensing, regulation, ownership, etc. The cab co.s are high in muslim employee counts. It's been 15+ years since I was flying into Minniepopulous on business. Gassing up the rental car at the only practical station near the airport was a scary proposition even then. Typically a hundred or more obviously Mooslimb cab drivers hanging about the place. Glad I'm retired from that job.

Welcome to the People’s Republic of Minnesota comrade and don’t have any subversive ideas about free enterprise.

Yes, that SuperAmerica station was muzzie central, they even put in a foot washing room and facilities there.
They were a nasty bunch, I remember well.
